I have a steel garage and needed good cable supports.
What I did was use my laser level and mark the same location on all exposed steel 45 degree roof supports. I got a carbide drill bit here and cut a 1/8" hole in the center of each suppoirt beam and attached one of these to each, tightly with a ratchet from behind. Once all the eye bolts were attached I ran 1/8" steel cable around the perimeter of my garage and torked the cable tight with an adjustable connector. I used the cable to hang 12 LED shoplights around the garage so a 12" chain would ensure the same height for each light for even lighting. These eye bolts did not budge and I'm sure I could hang additional items on the cable while these eye bolts took any strain in stride! The size was bigger than the cable by a bigger degree but between the size, fit, and strength of them I knew the cable would be tight for a long time.

Great Eye Bolts
These eye bolts are well made and come complete. I like the nice thick large flat washers, giving a good base. I put these on my A Frame Camper to secure a trap during storage. Note the ny lock black nuts are mine and do not come with bolts, just an added lock(totally not needed but I had some in stock)

Good Value for the Money - Seem well made
Happy with these. They mounted easily in my application. Used to mount to steel plate to secure ratchet straps. I do not anticipate breakage in my use case as I only put about 70lbs of pressure on them. I believe the description says 304 Stainless... so while it's not 316 it should hold up well due to living in a dry climate. The threads and bolts had no issues.
