Dellonda 36L Portable Car Fridge, Freezer, 12/24V Dual Zone Compressor - DL13

Easy to use with great cooling, I ran the Dellonda 50ltr whilst off grid on the Norfolk broads for 7 nights it has great energy efficiency and when it comes on is quite quiet low noise level we had it in the back of our t5.1 van directly below our heads under bed I would say it was a bit expensive the alpicool 60ltr unit is cheaper and looks exactly the same but I am impressed with this model, I wish I had bought a it years ago you'll never go back to an ordinary cool box again this compressor fridge freezer box is a game changer 👍👍

This review is for the 15ltr version. Very impressed with this fridge, it cools down quite quickly and holds the set temp very well. It will vary from 1 or 2 degrees above and below the set temp, which is what you would expect as the compressor cuts in and out. The fridge itself is very quiet really, although that will be dependant on the location and surface on which it is standing. I haven`t worked out how much electric it uses, but it is very low. I recon it runs for about10-15 mins an hour. However if you open the thing up ever 5mins, it will need to run a lot longer! You can stand a 500ml beer can in it, and will keep other essential items nice and cold. A little water /ice does build up inside and there is no drain plug, but a bit of kitchen roll sorts that out. The lid is a little stiff to open, but that is a good thing. You can take the lid off. However you can`t reverse the lid, which might be quite handy in some situations, it would mean you wouldn`t have the control screen upside down ! Just a thought. My biggest gripe is the polystyrene packaging, which the council won`t recycle.

Amazing thing we just use it as a freezer in motorhome set it to -18 and it stays at that temperature highly recommended 👍

Good size inside , went down to temperature quickly , then just ran when needed . Not sure about lack of a proper catch on lid , will indentations wear down for lid closure over time ? . Would have liked to run larger side as freezer and smaller as fridge but manual says can’t do this , it states larger side must not be colder than small side , wish it had said this in description , as probably wouldn’t have purchased .

Bought for our long motorhome holidays whereby we batch cook food for the holiday with our friends. Bought it for its ability to freeze items. Storage capacity excellent, noise level acceptable but doesn’t keep us awake at night. We think it’s great value for money. Would recommend.

Great as fridge or freezer or both even in 34deg temps in an awning in Cornwall. Brilliant

Bought this as a slightly cheaper alternative to others that are around £450 and so far seems grand! Plugged in and it took under an hour to reach 4 degrees (didn’t time exactly then) but once at the temp turned off for 20-25mins to save energy and back on for 5mins to maintain and repeat! So should save us a lot of energy! We went for 18L and it’s a fair size to keep bits to sustain us for a few days in the camper. Will have to check in in a few months to see if it’s holding up 😊🤞
