i bought these to replace the rolling wheels on my chair as i have a tall office chair and they work amazing! they aren’t so stuck i can’t glide the chair and it doesn’t damage the floor when sliding. it did make my chair a tiny bit shorter. they fit a staples office chair. super sturdy and reliable.

I didn't take a star off because I forgot to check the height - that's on me. Just know what these are almost an inch shorter than an office chair's wheels after installation, and that's a huge difference to those of us who are "touch" typists. I took the star off because the bottoms do not "slide" at all, no even a little bit. Most good office chairs are heavy, and even on a smooth (plank) floor, I'm having to haul the chair from point A to point B. I'd probably attach some felt pads, or some other sort of add on to make moving the chair easier if I were going to keep them in. Otherwise, they're very well made, and attach securely.

Study replacement for old wheels. Nice glide and doesn’t roll around once seated. These make the chair about an inch lower which works well for me.

Wheels on office chairs can be a hazard to some people and in some surfaces and places. These glides eliminate those problems for the most part. And I love not having a chair scoot away as I was preparing to sit. However my surface while a hard surface is very flat and textured and the chair is a little harder to move. I still would buy them but first check out the smoothness and finish of where I want to use them. Oh and there was no fitting problem on insertion.

These are great. Installed them in place of the little squeaky casters on a crib… who ever thought it would be a good idea to put wheels on a crib? You go into the grandkids room in the morning and it’s like… hey, honey have you seen the kid or the crib? Not anymore! No noise, no bouncing off the walls, these are rock solid. I may put some on my bed. Anyways, they work well on crib and if I do put them on my bed I’ll I update the review those details.

These are great and working as described. I bought two sets for two ABNORMAL design office chairs. The center columns of both chairs were different to most other office chairs and only 1/2inch off the floor so I had to cut some circular bits of scrap with a hole saw and superglue to the bottom as I expected would be needed. They are just great for the price and I imagine, as good as any others you will find and unless you have some weird design chairs like mine, including from Secret Labs, then you'll just plug them ion and be good to go. I will definitely be buying more.
