I’m a woodworking professional and I’ve looked for the best finish to use o. Tables and many pieces of furniture, and this gets my vote. The Sheen Plus is a top coat, so it goes twice as far as the first coat and adds sheen. Using the maintenance oil also adds sheen, but I believe this give a little bit more still. Something close to a matte finish. Take your time, follow the instructions and you’ll be good. I absolutely love this finish.

Most quality oil waxes worth using are expensive, but Rubio seems to the standard that others are compared to. Depending on prep, a second coat may be needed for some materials, but the durability and easy application is well worth the price.

This works really well. Need to keep in mind that you need to use the 2C first, then the sheen.

The sheen appears to work pretty well. It won’t give you quite the pop of a laquer or polyurethane but it definitely provides more depth than what you get with the 2c Rubio product. I would call the final finish closer to a matte plus than glossy.

Rubio is my go to finish. Leaves a natural wood feel not the plastic feeling finish. No voc, needs only one coat and 24 hours dry time. Yes it’s expensive but very little goes a long way

this is my second time using this product, it has a perfect finish. feels nice on the touch, too.

Great product. Burt they keep sending me only component A. And not. A+B (the smaller an attached to the larger can) Very frustrating

You need to use the Rubio mono coat sheen plus after using Oil Plus 2C. Otherwise it won’t be water sealed especially use for kitchen cabinets. Customer support was fast and efficient.
