I had a different rotary grater before this one and hated how easily it would clog, so I decided to try this one instead. So far, I’m really happy with it! The suction to the counter is great, and I love that the crank screws on because it makes it feel much sturdier. It didn't clog at all, the inserts are easy to clean, and I love having so many different options. It feels strong, is easy to use, and was a great price. Definitely an upgrade from my old one!

First of all, the slicing blade is truly sharp. Make SURE you only handle by the edges (small cut on the tip of my middle finger from my own carelessness.) The mechanism is reasonably sturdy, but when grating a pretty dry piece of aged parmesan cheese, it was hard to crank. Make sure you’re not pushing down too hard on it. Everything fits together quickly and easily. The julienne blade worked great on carrots, and I sliced Easter Egg radishes cleanly on the slicing blade. Recommended.

I had a few other items from the Zulay line-up, and believe them to be superior to similar items from other sources. This grater does not disappoint. I've wanted one for a long time and have looked at numerous listings, but I've always been hesitant that I'd get something flimsy and a waste of my time and money. Then I saw this from Zulay, I made my move. It looks nicer -- I'm sort of into the visual aspect of things I choose -- and it looked more substantial. I think it probably is substantially more substantial. It has good weight without being heavy. It is easy to assemble and to break down for cleaning. It suctions onto the counter like a champ. I feel like I could grate a huge amount of cheese quickly with no problem. I can zip through a half pound of hard cheese and clean it up the grater in half the time it takes to just set up the attachments on our big stand mixer. While it is mostly plastic, I think it's going to last a long time. So, it's fast, it's convenient, it looks good, works great, is built to last, and I like it. A lot. And it looks pretty good standing beside my KitchenAid Artisan.

Absolutely amazing invention! My household prefers freshly shredded cheese over store-bought. It suctions perfectly, it’s super easy to assemble and wash. Easy to use. However it might be because of our dishwasher but it broke in 2 places where the blade parts fit in. It still works though so I’m happy!

I have had several hand crank graters and this one scores at the top. It is easy to clean because the graters are in two pieces and not just one drum and there was no clumping! I grated a large block of Costco cheese in less than a minute! Suction was perfect. Very easy to turn the hand crank. It met all expectations and I would strongly recommend this product to others.

Product is as described. However when zesting a lemon the chamber that holds the item to be grated/zested got scratched and the acid in the lemon etched the chamber walls. the plastic does not hold up to the acid etc.

Awesome cheese grater! I absolutely love this kitchen tool. It’s made of great quality & very sturdy when in use, due to the suction cup bottom that’s activated when you switch the little handle down, so it won’t move while spinning. Easy to clean & take apart the pieces. Saves so much time grating cheese this way than using the other types of graters. Haven’t used all the attachments yet, but this cuts very well.
