I had planned to try making my own candles for a while so when I saw this pot for melting the wax, I decided to finally give it a go. It is a much better option than using an old saucepan as the handy pouring spout makes it easy to pour out the melted wax. The size is just right for me as it's suitable for a few smaller candles or one larger one. It was reasonably priced and although fairly light, seems sturdy enough for purpose. I'm really pleased with my purchase and have already made several candles.

Pours wax really well. Also has measurements clearly marked on inside of jug. Sensible and sturdy handle. Ideal for candle making.

Great for making your personal candles

This stainless steel jug is quite lightweight with a solid sturdy handle. There are 2 sets of volumetric scales along either side of the jug, however they are both printed from the inside so they are reversed when reading them from the outside. I’m sure this jug could be used for many different purposes besides melting wax as it is heat resistant, and allows for a very clean pour e.g heating milk. I’m dropping a few stars as there were some rough edges on the handle where it lacks some finishing.

My granddaughter is into candle making, and this works well with the pot. The candle holders are lovely, and I'm sure she will use them all up and will need more.

I purchased to use for candle making. I like that it has the drip proof spout as it makes it easier to pour the wax without it running down the sides of my candle jars. The quality of the jug seems very good and being stainless steel, I hope it will last a long while. Service and delivery were prompt.

This is small volume container great for small candle production , but for larger or multi -candle production you may require several melting and pouring operations .

Satisfied with the melting pot capabilities. However, this pot is very small in capacity and therefore good for melting “small quantities” in recipes. Pourable molded spout.
