Impressed!
Got this for $68 during a lightning sale but I would pay up to $110, if I had to. Only tried one other Olight product and it was ok. Mostly I will buy Streamlight as they make good quality for the money. I do have some Surefire WMLs too. So this PL Turbo absolutely rocks. I'm sorry to say that I haven't used it for very long, so no durability or longevity reports to be made, but I'm loving the quality and features so far. Rock solid attachment. Nice matte black finish (I don't care for the huge white lettering though). Everything feels nice. The rail adjustment system should be industry standard. My only gripe is the screwhead sticks out farther than I would like. However, the Allen key port is a nice touch. The battery door is a bit weird to operate but it does it's job. The light performance is pretty stellar. Decent flood. It is really wide outdoors but not very bright. Indoors it works very well. This WML has a fantastic hotspot. It's not LEP candela, but it's damn good. At 50 yards it makes my 12-foot wide backyard plate range seem like daytime. No complaints. It's a bright white light. Not too cool, not too warm. As far as beam quality goes, it punches well above it's price point. But, will it last? Speaking of heat, yeah, it can get really warm. It does have a heat management feature that dials down the lumens after 4 minutes. For me, not a big deal at all. I mostly shine for about 30 seconds or so and it's always full brightness. Pressing both sides at the same time toggles a fast strobe and it is seizure inducing! Excellent feature. Overall, this seems to be exactly what a pistol mounted light should be. The side toggle switch activation really had my cop friends thinking that it was better than SL or SF. It's a nice feeling positive click with dual function. I recommend this light for range fun, home defense if it's all you got, but not so much for duty until the brand reputation gains trust. Up to you I suppose. This is almost the same size as X300. I used a heat gun on my kydex holster and it popped right in. The side shoulders are a tad longer on this light but everything else seems the same to a kydex holster made for X300. The TLR has a shorter bezel, fyi. Edit: Light is still going strong with very good battery life. The profile is very close to X300 so with a little heat it will reform into Kydex very well. I did use Birchwood Aluminum Black to "remove" the white laser etchings (they can be darkened). Run this on my G47 and it's a great pairing. The only problem I've had is the rail mount gets stuck.

Blinding Performance – This Turbo Light Is a Beast!
I’ve tested a lot of flashlights over the years, but this Turbo light absolutely blew me away. The brightness on turbo mode is insane—easily one of the most powerful beams I’ve ever seen in a compact form factor. Whether you're lighting up a trail, scanning a large field, or just navigating in total darkness, this light handles it all without breaking a sweat. The throw distance is incredible, with a tight, focused beam that reaches far while still maintaining a usable flood around the edges. It’s perfect for both tactical and outdoor use. The build is rock-solid too—rugged, weather-resistant, and clearly made for real-world conditions. Battery life is surprisingly decent considering the output, and it recharges quickly. I also really like the multiple brightness settings—super convenient when you don’t always need to blind the world. If you’re looking for a light that can cut through darkness like a laser and handle rough conditions, this turbo flashlight is it. Powerful, durable, and well-designed. Highly recommended for anyone who takes their gear seriously.

Nice and bright
So, to start out...I have used surefire and streamlight for the most part. I've been... hesitant to try certain companies since they aren't USA based. I bit the bullet and tried holosun and was very impressed. So I therefore branched out to try and olight. At a fraction of the price of a surefire. Build quality: I'll need more testing but this is the most robust feeling pistol light I've ever had. I don't know what grade aluminum it's made of but it's probably twice as heavy as a streamlight TLR1. Brightness: is not nearly as bright as say, the surefire X300 but it's not meant to be. It's meant to have a decent spill but a long throw. This is a candela vs lumen light. I personally prefer higher candela (how far you can ID a target) vs how bright the target is lit (lumens). Mount: I personally greatly prefer the flathead screw style mount that this comes with over the "a" style mount on my X300. Battery life: this takes CR123A's so super duper easy to sources batteries for. On the downside, this seems to drain them pretty quick due to the high output. If you could find a rechargeable CR123 that'd be an excellent add on. Only time will tell how it holds up but for the price, if it holds up half as well as my surefire I'd be satisfied. I feel this is an absolute steal for the price.

Awesome light!
This light is better than expected. I like olight but I have always believed they cost more than their worth. But I really like how innovative olight is always improving their products making the better or brighter. I have grown to love their pl turbo. It’s surprisingly a good all around light. I have about 200 yards of open field behind my house and the beam reaches and is bright enough to identify what might be in the tree line. Yet in a hallway it has enough splash to flood a room with light. Controls are simple to use. I love the flex mount which can adjust to the pistol you use. Seems durable enough for edc or even duty use.

Quality without spending the quantity…
It was between this and another PID from Holosun or a TLR.. this light is very bright. Easy to turn on and off and has a nice durable and rugged quality. Most of my things now have Olight equipment

I like it. However...
This is a bright light! It's lightweight and comfortable to use. Ergonomic design is great. The switch is better than the ones on the TLR 7x. Battery life is decent, acceptable. Its versatile. Can be mounted on a either a pistol(for me a glock)or picatinny rail of a rifle. The light does heat up quick and get hot. So if you accidentally have it on in a holster/bag, it'll burn the lens rather quickly. The throw of the beam is awesome! Tight beam that just goes and goes! Creates a subsequent flood as well. Great light imitating! Strobe function is nice, just press both sides at same time. Really like the switch. Aside from the switches, it does unfortunately feel kinda cheaply made. It's currently mounted on a g34 which protects the inside of a safe quite well. I'm not sure I would use this for edc over the more compact (albeit much less bright) TLR7x I have on a pair of g45's. Overall a good light. I plan to try it out on a short barrel AR in 5.56, to see if it can hold upto to ruckus that little bang bang produces. While it's a good light, I wish I would have applied the money towards the newest version of a TLR 1. There is limited holster availability for this light. For the price though- worth every penny.

Made a great choice here
Put it on a AR 16" barrel. Button lined up perfect to operate very happy with the mount and ease of operation. As for bright it is leaps and bounds above any light in its rating pretty sure it out preforms what they say. Do not look into it . If you ever unfortunately had to point it at someone their vision without a doubt will be compromised. Quality is primo status. The beam floods while producing a great beam for distance this by itself is amazing for the price. The extra bonus is it comes off very easy and fits my pistol perfect while being very compact on a rifle. That being said he'll ya I recommend it and personally will get more. FYI my friends that have saw it an played with all have bought one for what that's worth. Cons none if you ask me. You need to carry some batteries that have lasted very well? Very hard to give this a negative strike

Simple & Functional Quality
I recently purchased this product from Olight in Nov. 2023 & I am very content with it. The functionality is simple yet effective. The 800 Lumes in something this small & the throw is impressive. I really like the unit as a whole & with the built-in 1913 Picatinny adjustable Rail is a clear winner. The product comes with two CR123 batteries which to me is an added bonus. The provided batteries are not rechargeable but that's fine because those are easy to find. In general this light in my opinion works perfectly for my use. The left / right buttons are in a perfect place & do not protrude so as to interrupt your hand placement. A total plus if you're looking for something simple that works & made with quality.
