They are low-profile nuts designed to sit below the 15mm spacer face. The thin shape does not by itself indicate weak material. Use only the supplied nuts, start them by hand, confirm 7–8 full turns, and tighten evenly with a thin-wall socket

What is the recommended torque specification?

Torque the spacer-to-hub nuts to 75–80 lb-ft with a calibrated torque wrench, tightening gradually in a star pattern. Do not use an impact wrench for final tightening. Recheck the torque after driving 25–50 miles
