Hi , i used a pair off tile nippers to get the correct size i bought them off Amazon , hope this helps that are not that thin and the colours are gorgeous x

I have bought this with 5 square boards 10x10 and I have covered large circular tray and still have some left .It can cover quite a large area

Yes they are fine outside all year round, though you have to use frost proof fix and grout.
