This is the best backpack I've ever owned. The zippers were a little stiff at first, but they loosened up. The exterior of the pack has a strange plastic feel, which I didn't like at first. But this is just the waterproof surface. It actually seems to be wearing quite well so far. The backpack has huge capacity and it's design allows all of the compartments to open out flat for easy access. I have a few minor issues that I wish they would fix, but overall I'm extremely satisfied. 1. The Velcro retaining strap for the laptop is too short. If your laptop is at the larger end of the range the bag is supposed to accommodate, strap will not reach over the top of the laptop to secure it. 2. I love the sideways slot to put the backpack on my roller bag handle. However, the slot is sown too tight (too small) for the handle of most of my bags. The first couple times I placed the backpack on the bags, I could hear stitches ripping, making the opening larger. I am concerned that those stitches will eventually pull loose. So far, so good, though. 3. Because the compartments all unzip to let the bag open flat, if you are holding the bag by the top handle and a zipper unzips, it can dump all of the contents. Where this is most concerning is in the laptop compartment, which makes the retention strap (comment 1) so very important. If they were to install some sort of safety strap that would prevent the bag from flopping open unintentionally, it could prevent this. These might seem like major flaws, but they really are not compared to the usability of the bag. It has become my go-to traveling briefcase. For flying, it has another feature that may or may not have been intentional, but it's really helpful. The top of the bag has a steep slope. At first, I didn't like this, because that seems like a lot of wasted space. However, when flying, if you place the backpack under the seat in front of you on its face (shoulder straps up), the slope allows your feet to go under the front of the backpack, which significantly improves your legroom.

An incredibly well designed backpack. Can expand to fill a very well organized (with optional compartmentalization - brilliant) laptop backpack. Sleek. Zippers are strong as can be. The material is very tough and doesn’t seem to age with rough use. The laptop pockets are well insulated and fully protected. Straps are good. The secret pocket is well placed. I’ve owned many backpacks, dozens at least. This is a clear winner for digital nomads. The only improvement i can think of is the water bottle holders in the side. Their magnetism is good/great, but if i were to do a cartwheel with the backpack on, then a full, heavy water bottle will fall out. For maximum security, i suggest they extend the fabric of those water bottle holders so it can fully enclose the water bottles. Make it zippered so it’s only an option, similar to how you’ve designed the zippered inner main compartment. Keep the magnet, but make the pocket taller so the bottle can be zippered shut. Think of bigger water bottles like the takeya 24 oz. Make it big enough for that please. If Nomatic will do this, then this then it’ll be a lifetime classic. My compliments to the designer and team who built this backpack. Very well done.

Honestly I’ve used the same backpack from high school to my four years of college and now it’s worn out and quite rough looking. I decided to look for a new back pack that was a bit “more” than a usual backpack ands that’s when i came across this. Immediately i loved how sleek it looked! Then to find how useful it is. Already has more pockets than my older backpack, this one also works well with travel. The price was something i was unsure of but i bit the bullet and ordered it. Now I can say im very happy with this backpack. It looks good. Easily fits my essentials, and now i have the option to use it for travel comfortably while my old one was more of an inconvenience to bring around. I can hide the straps if needed to make less clutter when stored. It stands up straight all the time without falling over. It’s almost too much space! The quick pocket at the top also has a gap to allow for charging banks which has been the most useful thing so far. I love that there’s a life time warranty too. Don’t have to baby this thing as much as i thought.

I consider myself a person who loves a good backpack. My Tumi has been a primary every day carry (EDC), and I also have a Swissgear and a Bange 35L travel backpack. I've only had this bag a week, but if it holds up it will far surpass any of the others. I've watched and read nearly all the reviews. Some reviewers criticize the weight of the bag. Seriously, I'll take an extra few ounces for the thicker tarpaulin and structure that lets it stand on its own. I'm not backpacking with it! Others commented about the zippers being a little tough around the top corner. Really? Pretty nit-picky because a) they are YKK and b) it's a different curve than you're used to, but once you adjust to the curve you realize it's a better ergonomic for bag entry and security. Some have said it scuffs easily. I really don't mind. My ballistic nylon Tumi is looking pretty worn as well and that's just the nature of an EDC backpack, isn't it? It's sturdy, easy to organize, expands beautifully, zips flawlessly, repels water effortlessly, and meets my needs wonderfully. My ONLY critiques are 1) the quick access pouch is too shallow for me, 2) the "hidden" pocket is tough to zip, 3) I'd like a tad more padding in the back and shoulder straps (but it's really fine for and EDC), and 4) my 12.9" iPad Pro barely fits the tablet sleeve. It needs another 3/4 to be just right. I slide it into the computer sleeve with my computer, so not a big deal, but it's a slight design flaw.. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend the bag--it's less than half the price of a Tumi with better organization and expandability. I don't think you'll regret it.

I bought this backpack and compared it with a few others. In the end, I returned it and stuck with the MARK RYDEN Business Backpack. Let me explain why. The Nomatic pack is very well designed. It would be great for someone traveling within a narrow range of situations, such as on flagship carriers with suitable baggage allowances, needing to carry some clothes or extra gear. The size is too big for the computer bag allowance of many budget carriers. And, due to its rigidity, it can't even be bent to fit inside one of their little measurement boxes in the airport. So, this backpack would likely cause me to have to pay for extra luggage, for a proper carry-on, in unexpected moments. I don't want to travel with that ~$40 surprise happening all of the time. (I am mainly concerned about intra-Europe flights). And, frankly, the bag is too big for my needs. It feels like one is carrying a seriouspack, not just a computer pack. While I do carry a 16" notebook and a 17.3" travel external monitor, I don't need to also carry clothes. And, this can handle a lot of clothes. Materials are questionable. The zippers are rough to move as they are waterproof (which I don't need, I just need a light version of water resistant). And, the material on the public-facing surface is one that scuffs easily. I hate it when my backpacks look aged prematurely. The MARK RYDEN Business Backpack has a similar aesthetic, fits my 16/17.3" devices, has plenty of storage compartments, yet is easier to compress into the airline's measurement box or to stow in my luggage. It is just as tall in full potential, yet isn't as bulky. And, it is 1/4 of the price. I did, however, like the bag enough to keep this brand on my watch list.

When I got this bag I honestly thought there was NO WAY 3-days worth of clothes and my computer stuff was going to fit in it, but then I found the magical expanding zippers!! This bag makes me feel like a million bucks when I roll into meetings right off the plane. I ordered this bag a few months ago and wanted to take it on a few work trips before I left a review. This is a spendy bag (for me) and wanted to really test it out and give my feedback for others like me. For years I’ve been traveling with my free OGIO company bag... the ones that have like a billion pockets and look like a giant ball when filled all the way. I’d use it on like 90% of my business trips because I could fit 2-3 days worth of clothes and my laptop and stuff in it and not need to take another carry on. Well, my wife started making fun of me and saying I didn’t look very professional, and honestly, I was embarrassed when I had to go to meetings right from the airport. The only negatives for me are the sunglasses box... which was neat that it came with one, but bag real estate is at a premium for me and the case is just too bulky, so it never gets used. Also, I appreciate all the little pockets and hidden pockets, but I really don’t know what people would use them all for. The magnetic pockets are also cool, but I can really only fit like a basic water bottle in it and not my reusable one. But really that’s it for the negative stuff... basically, this bag is too innovative for a traveler like me. All in all, yes, this is a more expensive bag, but if you are a traveling professional, that wants to make good first impressions without sacrificing usability, than is is a GREAT bag. Quality wise I know I’ll be using it for years to come... unless I get fired...

This is the backpack I ended up using daily, and it checks almost every box. The front is super clean and professional and when expanded, it unlocks a new compartment that feels like a secret upgrade. The interior pockets are over-the-top clever, especially the two stretchy ones in the main compartment—they’re perfect for glasses and keys, plus you get a retractable key string so you’ll never lose them. It has two stretchy water bottle pockets that use magnets to stay hidden when not in use (which is just cool). Side handles are sturdy, the bag is made in the Philippines (nice touch), and you can lock the zippers for security. Minor complaints: The back padding isn’t totally sweat-proof but works fine most days, straps are thin so weight gets a little tiring, and the zippers aren’t buttery smooth (probably for extra water resistance). Would love a brown color too for variety!

We purchase for going to school and traveling. The versatile storage and the design that allows you to reach your luggage from anywhere are very attractive. However, the weak point is that sometimes the front zipper cannot be opened and closed smoothly.

El producto es de buena calidad, me parece que me va a durar muchos años. Cuenta con muchos bolsillos, unos ocultos, otros con anti RFID, incluye un estuche rígido para lentes, otro compartimento para la laptop, otro para una tablet, aún hay espacio incluso para ropa; tiene tantos compartimentos que a veces cuesta recordar en cuál de ellos dejaste algo. Cuando creí que ya la había inspeccionado completamente me encuentro con que también incluye un llavero con cuerda extensible. En general; no es barata, pero vale la pena para esos viajes de trabajo de tres días. Está muy cómoda.

This bag is perfect for me. Great size and lots of compartments and pockets to keep things organised and separated. I load more into this bag than I did my last pack and it seems lighter because I can balance the packing. I did not like the sternum strap. I've never ever used a sternum strap and I didn't like the way the left side hung loosely. I also didn't like the way the straps would hang loosely. So I decided to make a couple of mods which honestly, for the price, they should've included. I sewed on a couple of elastic straps to hold the loose straps tight. I'm not the best sewer but it took me 15 minutes and it looks great. (See the pictures) I also got the wire cutters from my workshop and snipped a break in the sternum buckles so I could slip them off (and on again if I ever needed to use them... unlikely). again it looks great and the bag is now absolutely perfect for me. I love the way it sits up when you put it down. I highly recommend this bag and still gave it 5 stars even though it needed those mods.

The best travel pack I’ve ever owned. Lots of organization, looks great, comfortable, expandable and it goes onto suitcase handles. Would recommend 100%
