The Skillmatics Scissor Skills Activity Book has been such a fun and helpful activity for my child. The kid-safe scissors are easy to use and give them confidence while learning how to cut properly without frustration. The activities are engaging and well-designed, keeping my toddler entertained while also building fine motor skills. It feels like a great mix of learning and play, and it holds their attention much longer than I expected. This scissors skills activity book has been a really great learning tool for my almost 3-year-old. I bought it to help him start practicing how to use scissors, and overall I’m very happy with it. One of my favorite features is the included accessories. The book comes with child-friendly safety scissors that are not sharp, plus glue, so you have what you need to start the activities right away. The variety is excellent because each page offers something new. It’s not just cutting practice—you may cut, fold, glue, or create different little projects, which keeps kids interested and entertained. The material. of the pages is thick paper style- sturdy enough for activities and repeated handling without tearing too easily. In terms of messiness, it’s actually not very messy compared to many toddler crafts. Each page simply turns into an activity or project, so cleanup is usually quick and simple. For value for money, I think it’s good. You get many pages, different skill levels, and plenty of activities in one book, along with the included tools. We already finished the straight-line pages and moved on to the wavy lines, which are a bit harder for him right now. He’s not quite ready for that level yet, so we’re taking a break until he builds more confidence.

This is such a cute craft activity. I am looking forwarding to gifting this to my toddler this year once she’s ready to use scissors. I love that this set helps with fine motor, creative thinking, spatial reasoning, and attention skills. There are 25 activities total. The set comes with 2 safety scissors and a glue stick, which I did not realize when I purchased so unfortunately I spent additional money on other crayons stickers. This set is divided into 3 levels that progressively increase in difficulty for your child.

This was a great kit for kids to learn how to use scissors to cut on the line and use them safely and love how they had different character themed books to help keep the kids interested in the activity and keep their mind focused on the tasks. Can be messy if you let them go crazy unless you follow the directions and do the activity in the book.

I got this for my 3 year old, but there were not many of the activities in the book that were actually appropriate for the skill level of a 3 year old. However, the scissors are FANTASTIC. They do not cut anything hut paper. Not even hair. My children tried to give each other hair cuts, and they didnt take off a single strand. I do like how all of the activities are in a book to keep everything together. There is a huge variety of activities and fun things for kids to do in this book. And I say it would be best for 4 and up.

My grandson is learning to use scissors so this was a good activity for him. It is very nice and such a great value because it comes with the book, 2 pairs of scissors and a glue stick. He did dig into the glue so it was a little messy but not bad. Overall I definitely recommend this.

My toddler loves this! Kept her busy for a full hour which is unheard of. She’s very into cutting and using scissors at the moment and I love that these are so safe, they only cut paper not hair, not fabric. So they can be left unattended for a few minutes with them which is a nice break for us grown ups.

Absolutely adored by the kid, was excited to work on cutting skills everyday. Double duty as DIY cards for friends, teachers, etc.

My little one loves it, though she is not old enough for the intricate patterns to use scissors. Quality of the craft paper is good, packaging is good. It's all bright and colourful. Scissors are deliberately dull. Note that if your child is too young to handle scissors, supervision is needed.
