Update: Here is the FB post I just did to my 2,000+ friends/followers: Lenny Living Life -- Most of y'all know that I mostly rely on my DIY Solar System for all of my energy needs. However, I do occasionally have to get a battery charge from the grid on consecutive rainy/overcast days to boost my battery bank. Because of that, I'm always looking for the lowest power consumption devices, appliances, etc. I do this to keep more of my money in my pocket, not because I'm a tree hugger. I do love trees because they are great for firewood, cooking, and heating! 😛 😛 😛 I often used an electric skillet (12") for cooking or heating up my meals, or sometimes the microwave, but was searching for a lower power hungry appliance since both of them would use 1,000 watts or more when cooking. I found this Dezin Electric Cooker (only $39.99) on my Amazon Store and have been using it for about a month. It has multiple functions, but the basic bottom electric "pot" also works as a small electric skillet. It will hold 10-12 chicken nuggets (for size example) and, using the low power setting (250 watts), it cooks and browns the nuggets in about 15 minutes, flipping every five minutes. The BIG electric skillet I used to use took longer and lost a LOT of the heat around the bottom and sides. This unit keeps the power inside an insulated base so there isn't much power loss to the surrounding area, meaning lower air-conditioning use also. Basically, it uses about 25% of the power that the 12" electric skillet was using. Last night, I cooked a light dinner consisting of a can of vegetable soup poured over a pack of Ramen noodles, and it was done in under six minutes. 250 watts per hour divided by 10 equals ONLY 25 watts to cook dinner last night. The bowl itself does not come out of the pot base. The instruction manual says "do not immerse" when cleaning so that is the only negative so far. I did have a stainless steel stacking bowl set where the largest bowl fit inside the pot perfectly so I used it for cooking my first meal, then used two forks to lift the SS bowl out and cleaned it so I didn't do more than wipe down the pot base. The lid fits snuggly on the pot base and there are three small vent holes to let steam out. The outside of the pot base got warm but not hot while it was cooking, which is what I was hoping for. I hate cooking where so much of the heat dissipates into the air making the A/C have to work harder. It has a low and high heat setting and while there is no temperature guage or light saying when it was "on," I did have a watt meter showing it did cycle on and off when it reached the maximum temperature. I did cook a full bowl of beans and rice. It did NOT pull the full 650 watts during the cooking process. I didn't really check the low heat side to see if it used 250 watts or not or if it stayed on thei entire time or not.

I absolutely loved this pot. It’s convenient. Heats and cooks quickly. It’s made life very easy. The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is that after 1.5 years of use the coating is peeling. I’ve only used the spatula that came with it and wood chopsticks while cooking. It was disappointing. I was ready to buy another one until I decided to stay away from the Gnostic coding and try to find one that’s ceramic. I just hope it’s as good. It’s definitely worth the price.

I seldom give Five Star ratings to a product simply because there are very few that I consider to be that good. This is one of those exceptions. After unpacking and doing a quick wash of the nonstick pot, I added cold water (approximately 64º) to about the ¾ level, turned it on High and started the timer. Nine minutes and thirty seconds later it was at a rolling boil. I dumped the water, waited until it was cool again then added the same amount of hot water from the faucet. Exactly five minutes later it was at a boil. I added a generous single serving of spaghetti to the pot and it never even lost its boil. I left it uncovered, added a splash of olive oil and some sea salt and set the timer for 10 minutes. When the timer was finished, I used the lid for a quick draining and plated absollutely perfect spaghetti. I added a half can of microwaved chili to the top with sliced jalapeños and diced onions and enjoyed a favorite... chili three-way. A quick rinse and wipe dry of the electric pot and it's ready for its next challenge. I did put the lid in the dish washer. The exterior of the pot stayed warm but easily touchable during the 15 minute total run time while the handle remained at room temperature. It is compact but can easily handle up to about three servings of pasta. Though this can't address longevity with only two cycles, the whole pot seems well built. I did notice a "hot spot" directly across from the handle but it didn't cause an uneven boil. The only slight criticism I might have is that the "On" light is difficult to see in a well lighted room. The light could be a little brighter. The next test willl be on some rice. Looking forward to it!

I love this hot electric pot. I use it almost everyday. Saves so much time from using the stovetop. I fix my pets meals on daily basis and this pop saves me so much time. Love it so much I bought another for my son.

First of all, it's so beautiful to look at, very slick, clean, and stylish! It's easy to use, heats up well, is versatile, and allows you to cook a plethora of exciting healthy dishes👌. I have already recommended it to family and friends, and they want one immediately! I am extremely very happy with my cooker 😍🙌

Bin sehr zufrieden, habe den hot post schon mehrmals zuhause getestet. Brät wunderbar, von Schnitzel ueber Bratwurst. Jetzt kommt der Hot Pot in mein Wohnmobil💪👍, er wiegt nichts, ist groß genug fuer 2 Leute, laesst sich super einfach reinigen.

Très efficace. La cuisson est très rapide. Pour le moment j'ai fais cuire du riz a grain long, et il a cuit comme il faut, et il n'a pas colle au fond. Puis j'ai fais des hôtels dog steamer et ça n'avais que 20 minutes a faire. J'en suis vraiment emballer et j'ai hâte de faire cuire plein dautre aliments. Je le recommande absolument, car on evonomise de l'électricité c'est pas juste pour les dortoirs, je suis dans un 31/2 et j'aime mieux utilisé cette casserole électrique que de mettre une casserole sur ma cuisinière car ils ne consomme pas le même nombre de kilométrage.
