Bought to leave in suitcase for travel. - to avoid lugging full size curling iron on trips. After using for awhile can say I actually prefer this over the regular curling iron. Curls last longer - even in humidity and is much easier to use (used on chin length fine/ lots of hair and shoulder length thick hair with the same results. I also got a silicon travel holder that you can place it on while in use and not worry about buring anything at all hotel, etc. Best $ ever spent for my carry-on.

This is a great travel iron. Lightweight and dual voltage for using overseas. I have fine hair and this works great to just smooth out my hair. When I use it to straighten my hair, my hair looks shiny and feels like silk. Great for quick touch ups. When I use it to curl my hair it took a little practice to get quick with it. I have long hair and I'm used to using a long barrel. It still works great and the curls hold really well. There is no tugging or breaking my hair by it getting caught in the clamp. I have to work in smaller sections than with my long barrel so it does take a little longer. It would be perfect for short hair. It heats up quickly. Overall I am impressed with this little iron. I've been using it for about a month to get used to it before my international trip. No issues at all with it. It also has an auto shut off if you forget to unplug it. The bonus is that it fits inside my small make up bag.

Good value for the money, light weight and easy to pack. On the plus side, it has 3 heat levels but even on the lowest setting it still can cause a nasty burn if not careful. Since it is made for travel, the barrel is shorter and is very smooth making it a bit difficult to hold and curl the hair without sliding out. That being said I still like the product—it just took some time getting the hang of it!

This curling iron is a shorter length than most and I especially like that feature. It has (3) heat settings and warms up quickly. I recommend this product.

I had been looking for a dual power curling iron for overseas travel, easy to pack, 1"-1-1/4" barrel. Curling irons can be tough during overseas travel as they pull a lot of power. Based on description & reviews, though brand was unfamiliar, I ordered. Upon receipt, I was leery as I had previously been used to overseas appliances having a switch to change from 110 to 240v, and there was no switch, though the box assured it was dual voltage. So, I thought I'll just watch it closely the first time. Well, it worked perfectly every time! I am beyond pleased. I have thick, short, wavy hair, & the 1" barrel did a great job touching up my hair every day. Despite what some reviewers noted, I felt it heated up to the mid-temperature quite quickly, and as long as I used it as I would my regular one, I didn't find that the tip was any hotter. All in all, it was a great buy for me, and I would highly recommend it. Note: the cute little bag it comes in is for STORAGE ONLY! It is NOT heat resistant, but that is pretty obvious. As with any heated appliance, safety rules apply. Happy traveling!

I know it's supposed to be compact for travel , but I think that handle should be an inch long , otherwise works okay for travel

I had to come on here and leave a review. When I first got this I didn't even take it out of its plastic I just thought well this isn't going to do anything for me I have a sort of a shoulder length bob with bangs. I normally scrunch it and diffuse it and I have s-waves but many times it's just stringing and drives me crazy. So I've tried a few other things that helped a great deal that I'm also impressed with and I'll leave a review for that as well. That was Carl Smith Bond and multitask conditioner. Well let's talk about this awesome little curling iron shall we? As I said I was going to send it back I didn't even give it a chance until just a few minutes ago I thought why not try it before you send it back. So after washing my hair and scrunching and diffusing the top of my hair wasn't curly enough so I thought why not bring this out and try it. I plugged it in it heated up like nobody's business very fast it has three settings I put it on the lowest one for my hair. It didn't tug or pull any of my hair out I am so impressed with this little wand or curling iron. I'm happy I didn't send it back it made incredible beautiful curls in my hair that I absolutely love it all looks so natural. Kind of beachy wavy spirally. Very easy to use the tip stays cool so you can use that if you need to twist it I absolutely love it thank you to this company I hope that it doesn't break down or anything that would be a bummer. It also has a little stand so you don't have to worry about burning anything the cord is quite long and I just love that it's small absolutely love the mini size because like I said my hair has lost a lot of its thickness. So if anybody's in doubt don't be give this curling iron a try because it is just awesome and I'm so happy that I did this girl's keeping it LOL.

My beautician cut my hair shorter than I wanted so I had to purchase a smaller curling iron because I was going on a cruise. Did a wonderful job. The friend that was with me in the room saw how it worked and used it also will probably buy one for herself it is that good

I like the size of this curling iron, as it can be carried in a small purse or bag. It works well with shorter hair and the iron gets hot quickly. I turn it off and use it to curl my hair and it gets the job done soon. Thank you.

Received this delivery half an hour ago and have already used it. It heats up quickly and holds my fine hair just fine. Curls really well, even at the lowest setting. I bought the silicone bag for it as another reviewer said the stand isn’t very big. The bag will be great for storing it travelling. As you can see it is much smaller than my regular curling iron, so will be great in my carry on luggage. Can’t wait to use it in Europe! Last time I went to Holland I couldn’t use my regular curling iron(different voltage). This mini curling iron is dual voltage! Sweet!

Just got this and it is fantastic! So nice and small for travelling which is perfect for my carry on. Was worried it wouldn't give me great curls but it does, my hair is longer than shoulder length and somewhat thick. Also like the different heat settings and that it comes with a little pouch. Definitely worth it!

What a great little curling iron! It has 3 temperatures, depending on how thick your hair is, choose whatever suits you best. It heats up quickly and is small enough to toss into a carry-on bag for your next trip. It does have an on button, but not an off setting, so the only way to turn it off is to unplug it. I wasn't sure the bag that came with it was truly heat proof so I fashioned one using a heat resistant pot holder sewn together on 3 sides to carry the curling iron in the future.
