Nice helping hands!
This is exactly what I was looking for. It has a sturdy metal base and is weighty enough to not move when in use. The clips have finger nuts to adjust to any direction needed and the arms are long enough to hold something large. Assembly took under 5 minutes. These are also nice because they are not built into the heat mat or the soldering iron, so I can set them aside when I am soldering on the mat or assembling components. It measures 140mm x 200mm (5-1/2" x 7-7/8") and the arms are about 290mm (11-1/2") from base to tip. I would buy these again but hopefully won't ever have to.

Does what it says on the description. Bonus points for making you feel like Doc Octopus.
Bought this because I was constantly burning myself and wishing I had an extra pair of hands to hold whatever I was working on. Tried McGuyvering up various solutions involving tape and alligator clips and ultimately failed with things slowly drooping or falling over. This is flexible, nicely weighted and holds things securely. Ideal or things that can be seen or worked on with the naked eye, or with a flexible magnifier, since the lowest point that the clamps will hold isn't really suitable for holding under a microscope. That said, this has now become part of my regular toolkit, holding probes in place, while keeping boards from running away. Super easy to assemble, a few screws hold everything securely in place. Size is as described. Not huge, and unobtrusive enough to keep on the workbench. If I had one wish it would be that the arms are were a little more flexible, but that's the trade you make for having it hold securely and steadily.

Useful "third hand" at fair price, though one clip could be larger
This "third hand" is a useful tool for electronics, model making and other crafts. The four goose-neck clip holders are easy to bend to shape, but strong enough to take a weight of a kilogram (a couple of pounds). The only issue I found was that the provided 5 cm (2") long alligator clips, though fine for wire or small parts, might be a bit small for holding larger items. However, I had a 15 cm (6") alligator clip (a food bag clip), which I drilled for the (metric) bolt on the goose-neck, and it's held with a nut. Two silicone pipe-caps cover the jaws. That clip I added is marked in the picture.

Sturdy product, bit too stiff though.
Sturdy product, doesn't feel super cheap. Although it's not for me. The arms are pretty stiff and don't stay in their immediate position at first. The base of the arms also loosen up if your reposition them a lot which allows them to rotate. The amount of arms is nice so you can hold different things but I couldn't get the arms to stay put. They'd slightly rebound a little bit and I couldn't get them into a ideal position because of it.

Good helping hand
Sturdy, easy to assemble, well made, stable. Alligator clips have plastic covers. Covers are not thermoresistant, and can melt (or soften) if you solder too close to it.
