Powering my Northstar SC 650 truck camper
Update: Returned home after a 30 day trip back in May 2024, traveling from NC to upstate NY in our northstar SC 650,. We used this the Solix C1000 with the expansion battery everyday. Although It won't power our rooftop AC, it powered everything else. Came in super handy during quiet hours when we wanted to use our microwave, or keurig coffee maker and so on. We do carry a generator on board so at the end of everyday around 4-6 pm, we would start our generator and backcharge our entire system. Our onboard solar system would charge our "house battery" but the generator would top off the anker system in about 1-1.5 hours depending on how much power was drawn off the system. We keep the system in our camper and backpower through the shore power hookup. It worked flawlessly for the entire trip. It's pretty handy given the weight, I put the main system where we want it and then stack the auxiliary battery and hook them together with the provided cord. No regrets on this purchase to date. The C1000 and BP 1000 work well for our specific needs and physically handling the system wrt weight is just right! Hope this update helps someone out who is looking for a similar system for a similar application. After purchasing the solix C1000 and then partnering it with the BP1000, I have doubled the output watts I desire to power my northstar sc650 truck camper over a longer offgrid experience. Although I've not tested it on a multi day trip yet, but testing over several hours and running the things I normally would on shore power, I am extremely happy with what it can now power over extended periods of time. Literally running multiple items from our microwave, furnace, hot water heater, and more, when plugged into the surge pad socket with a 15 amp cord I am essentially running everything I need when I need it. The BP1000 discharges first and then will consume power from the C1000 and Vice-versa when charging the system back up. I believe that the system is setup this way so that the user will always have control over power charging and discharging The system does not have a pass through charge function but rather works like a UPS system in the sense that when plugged into shore power and backcharging, if power is needed to run something, the system will stop charging and immediately switch into ups mode and power what you need in the moment. Our plan is to use this system in campgrounds during quiet hours when gas generators cannot be used. Based on our particular wants & needs, I Would highly recommend. I wanted something small but that packed a high watt output when I need it. So far, so good. Boondocking in my northstar truck camper I am able to backpower the entire camper with the Solix C1000 for about a 24 hour period. This depends of course on what I am running. Occasional microwave oven use, my fridge on propane setting, lights, water pump, even the hot water heater and hot air furnace, again, limited high use items. Only used so far on 2 overnight trips. Next morning I use an 1800-2200 watt generator to power the anker back to full from about 15% only drawing a set watt charge of about 750. The generators rpm only increase a little bit and the anker is charged in about 1 hour and 30 minutes. I could increase my charge watts to 1000 and be done inside of 50 minutes or less but I want to break the unit in several charge cycles first and I like running my generator on eco mode. The anker is not heavy at only 28 lbs and I can set it up on my campers kitchen counter or just about anyplace else inside my rig. I bought it for $650 from amazon, anker Direct, and it shipped to my house in under 5 days and came in just under $700 total, a great buy in my opinion. I am looking to eventually buy the expansion battery to give more power in depth but am in no rush at this point. I am 100% satisfied with this small yet powerful unit. It definitely lives up to what it says it can do, also, the app is simply incredible. Great job to the folks at anker. Highly recommended, just do your homework on what you plan to use it for. I've been a goal zero fan for years but it's the older led acid yeti 400 and 1250 units. Great products and they still work great, I also have the ego nexus system and run 7.5 amp batteries on it, again, great units all around but this anker system takes the cake. Size, weight, power output, and charge times is what sold me!! Happy shopping.

Perfect for Camping, Travel, and Emergencies
I purchased this power station and sent it to my mom in Cuba, and it has been perfect. It is reliable, easy to use, and provides excellent backup power when needed. The battery lasts a long time, charges quickly, and gives great peace of mind during power outages. The quality is outstanding, and I am very happy with this purchase. Highly recommended!

Impressive Power Supply
I purchased this ANKER C1000 Solar Power Station to use as a backup 'grid down' unit for my garage refrigerator. The Power Station was priced "sweet", delivered a day ahead of schedule, was very well packaged as well as conveniently sized with portability in mind. I tested it on my spare refrigerator that I keep running in my garage, utilizing the freezer space mainly. The garage fridge is a FRIGIDAIRE 18 cu ft full size refrigerator/freezer. The garage is NOT climate controlled (no A/C or heat). The test came during outdoor temps that averaged 53° daytime, 46° nighttime. I charged the ANKER C1000 to 100% then plugged this refrigerator into it. The C1000 ran this refrigerator for an "impressive" 36 hours, before the C1000 shut down at 1% power. (remember this is a normal sized refrigerator running in outdoor temps averaging around 50°) I was impressed to say the least! I then tested it on my 2004 kitchen side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. From 100% charged to 1% shutdown, the C1000 lasted for exactly 12 hours. (kitchen temp averaging 68°) This kitchen refrigerator/freezer is a larger unit, plus it was located in a warmer environment, plus we continue to open and close the doors as we needed items from both the refrigerator and the freezer sides. I was equally impressed! Both tests demonstrated that the C1000 was capable of keeping the freezer items 0° - +8° and the refrigerator items never got above 40°, and was dependable for "short term" grid down situations. I highly recommend this ANKER C1000 for anyone who is looking for a smaller temporary backup Supply for "short-term" power outages to help keep their refrigerator and or freezer at optimum temperatures for the duration of the short-term outage. Also, I can see where the C1000 could be used as a great camping or RV tool, to aid in convenience, especially if 'boon-docking'. Just add 200 watts - 400 watts (600 watts maximum) solar panels and you'd have total reliability, on partial to full sun days. (depending on your power consumption needs) This station also came with cords to charge on A/C current (house) or car battery (cigarette lighter plug). Charging the C1000 from 1% to 100%, using A/C (house current) took 1 hr 32 min.

OUTSTANDING power bank!
Anker is such a solid company making outstanding products. This power bank is no exception. I have actually bought TWO of these, because they are packed with power, and work so well. I did need to reach out to Anker customer service, which turned out to be no fault of the power bank, but my ignorance! Their customer service is absolutely top notch, and I cannot recommend them enough! If you need a high powered portable power station, this is a great, great buy!

Great source of alternate power
The Anker SOLIX C1000 is reliable and easy to use. It is an excellent source of power during outages. It works well at sporting events to connect fans or televisions. This product has exceeded my expectations.

Good features
Portable but heavy for me. I am giving it 4 stars because I have not used it enough for complete evaluation.Waiting for power outage. Does power the refrigerator. Has the usual functions. Holds a charge. Do not have any comparisons. I would buy again based on functions and capacity. Side handles make it easy to lift. I think it is a quality product and well designed. Sturdy case. I think the product runs exactly as described by the seller. Seems satisfactory.

Absolute UNIT
I have a van that I camp out of and this thing is AMAZING. It can powery 12v fridge for 17hrs and easily run any cooking appliances that I've thrown at it. Electric griddle, air fryer, microwave, crock pot, and can charge my devices with no issue. I have it connected to 300w of solar on the roof of the van and it stays fully charged throughout the day and can easily run a low power fan all night as well as the fridge and still have 60% lest in the morning and be fully charged by 2pm. This thing is literally the backbone of my camping setup and I love it

Great power station
I got this on sale for about 45% off, and I freaking LOVE it. I've taken it out camping a handful of times in warmer and cooler temps, and it held up so well. Obviously wasn't keeping it in direct sunlight, but it stayed in the tent and kept its charge. I am impressed with its capacity, because I was able to power my gaming laptop for 12 hours (at home). I don't know how long it would be able to power an electric cooler, but it is more efficient to use the DC charger (car port) vs the AC (2/3 pin plug). You can download an app that monitors power usage, current capacity, and temperature, which can be super useful if you're in range; it uses Bluetooth, so don't expect to receive live updates from across town. It's straightforward to use: plug in your devices, make sure you press the correct 'on' switch on the power station, and it just works. Took about 3 hours to charge to 100% from 15%. It's heavier than it looks, but an adult can lift it no problem. And its blocky size would make it hard to tip over and hurt a pet or child. All that being said, I would not buy this for full price. As of writing this review, it is still 38% off so I don't think that will be an issue. Also, Anker is a well-known, reliable brand that I have used before for other products and have had no issues.

Very Good Quality and a lot of Power!
After seeing many good reviews for the Power Station, I decided to purchase one for my camping trips. I am glad I did. I have another Portable Power Station from Conpex with similar "Specs", but, oh boy, the difference is huge! In combination with my 400W Solar panels, this thing basically never runs out of power when I use it with my electrical camping gear. Although I never had to use it for this purpose, I also think that should there ever be a power outage the Solix C1000 will be a good addition to my household to keep essential appliances running. AAA+++

Easy to use
Good power supply. A bit heavy but I can move it around easy. Not complicated to use, holds the charge well. I use it in my craft room for my radio, lamps, laptop and wifi extender. The only thing that drains it really quickly is my tiny 500w heater! Also useful as we live in an area that can get power cuts as it easily powers a small tv
