Good construction and worth the money. You do not have to buy a 12ga blank. Cut a 12ga shell to remove the shot and it will work.

Best way top set up perimeter for pests
Remember, only load with blanks!!!!I set this up at my garden to keep deer out. Works great. Go to hardware store and buy the lightest wire they have. Use wire to set up perimeter. Fishing line has too much stretch in it. It works as it should. Please do your research. I have heard these are not legal in some places.

Needs stronger springs
Mostly works as advertised but don't always strike the primer hard enough to work. I had to grind down the firing pin on one to increase directed pressure so that the primer on a shotgun blank would pop. Overall happy with purchase but they definitely need stronger springs.
