Complete Surprise
I have issues with my feet. I sustained an injury 20 years ago, and was always able to deal with the pain. Recently, that old injury has made standing on my feet for long periods of time unbearable. I knew I needed some kind of relief. I read the reviews for this unit about 2 years ago, but decided to go with a Brookstone unit, because I was familiar with their brand name. I had two Brookstone units that completely failed in under 3 months with very light use. I had never used or tried any mechanical foot massaging device before the Brookstone purchase. That unit felt great to me at that time because I was having major foot pain issues, and it provided relief. But the motor was weak, and it did not take much for the motor to completely go out with mild usage.I saw this unit on sale during a Black Friday sale for $149 dollars, which was a steal. So, I decided to give it a try. My expectations were low because I had never heard of the brand Cloud before. I expected it to be less effective than Brookstone because Brookstone has been manufacturing all kinds of massage devices for years. I thought I would use it, and send it back if it did not massage my feet well, or if the motor died shortly after use. For $149, I did not think I had much to lose.I was so wrong about this product and brand. I have used this device almost every night, and some times, for back to back to back sessions. The motor is able to handle it, and it massages my painful foot enough to provide me with temporary relief. It provides a deep massage on the lowest setting, so much better than the Brookstone unit. You have options to increase the intensity, and make other adjustments to customize your massage experience, which I have done when my feet are really ailing me. I have a tendency to go for the brand that has been around forever, and that has cornered the market if given an opportunity when it comes to appliances. My bias is thinking that they have figured it out through trial an error and experience. I believe that is true in a lot of cases, but every now and then, some one new comes into an established market, and they make a better product. Cloud's product was better than Brookstone in every respect, including having a more powerful motor. I cannot compare this product to other massagers because I have only used the Brookstone unit and this one. I can say this blows the Brookstone Shiatsu massager out of the water. I was very surprised in a pleasant way. The fact that it was only $149 during Amazon's Black Friday sale was just the cherry on the top. This product was worth the full asking price and has brought my injured foot so much relief over the course of a year.

I finally found the prefect solution to my hurting legs and feet! I love it!!
I am amazed at how great this CloudMassage works and feels on my legs and feet. I’ve been experiencing pain, swelling and discomfort in my legs for years. This is partly because I’ve sat in a wheelchair all day long for the past 30 years.I cannot stand or move my legs. My lack of mobility causes a lot of pain and swelling in my legs and feet. I am also diabetic and have signs of diabetic neuropathy, which causes pain and sleepless nights. I needed to increase my blood flow circulation and help in reducing the swelling in my legs and feet.I have gone to numerous doctors, homeopathic, holistic, physical therapist and other health professionals, in search of relief.I was told to move more, elevate my legs, get exercise and other things that I could not do because of my other health issues, pain level, limited time and funds. All of this has cost me a lot of time and money, yet I found no real solution, until now.I found my solution by doing my own research. As I researched, ways to alleviate the problems that I was having with my tired, painful, swollen legs and feet, I came across the concept of Shiatsu massage. As I learned more about Shiatsu massage, I found out that this is an ancient form of massage that is even older then acupuncture and actually works on the pathways that run throughout the body.Shiatsu sounded like something that could help me. But as I called around, I found out that going to someone for weekly Shiatsu massage was a costly endeavor, costing on average $89.00 per visit. Who has that kind of money to spend every week? I know that I don’t!Finally, when I came across the CloudMassage on Amazon I thought, this might be my solution. It could totally eliminate the need for a professional and could give me a much-needed deep massage in the comfort and convenience of my own home.Shiatsu actually means finger pressure. Now, I have my solution, it’s the CloudMassage. The CloudMassage’s therapeutic deep kneading, compression pressure and heating features felt as if I was being massaged. It felt like fingers were gently massaging my legs and feet. I love the fact that the CloudMassage makes the settings so easy to use. I was able to adjust the massage level and intensity to fit my needs. The CloudMassage machine is also very easy to position and adjust in several ways, by just moving the adjustable bar. My favorite feature has to be the heat settings, which will come in handy during the cold winters.I also love the fact that I can share the CloudMassage with other family members. My mom and I live together, so I asked her to try the massager. Her legs are painful and ache due to varicose veins and years of standing at her job. I swear that when she tried it and fail asleep that was a miracle because she’s high energy and never sits down even in her senior years. Mom says that it felt as if someone was massaging her legs and feet, which relaxed her body.I know that this is a very long review, but I feel that this CloudMassage is such an exceptional product that I just had to write my thoughts. I think that if you have pain in your legs or feet, swelling, poor circulation, diabetic neuropathy, or have tired legs or feet, due to standing, sitting or walking too long this CloudMassage may be the solution that you’ve been searching for.

Great Massager, Rough Shiatsu Mode
This is a great product overall, and I really enjoy using it. The foot and calf massager has a variety of settings, most of which feel wonderful and relaxing. The only one I don’t enjoy is the shiatsu setting — it’s a little too rough on my feet and can even leave them bruised. I’m not sure if that’s because my feet are completely flat or just the intensity of the setting.Another small drawback is that the shiatsu feature is difficult to turn off. Even though the option appears on the device itself, it only actually works through the remote, which is frustrating. That said, I still recommend this product because the other settings feel great and the massager as a whole is worth it. You won’t regret getting one if you’re looking for foot and calf relief.TL;DR: Great massager with plenty of enjoyable settings. Shiatsu mode is too rough and only disabled via remote, but still highly recommend.

Lifesaver for my boyfriend that works in retail
My boyfriend works in retail where they are old fashioned and believe, to the detriment of their employees, that sitting once during a 10 hour shift means they are lazy and worthless. Like many other people in his expensive shoes that are made for standing all day but don't quite help entirely, he was coming home with feet so sore that he was unable to use them upon returning home. I hated seeing him in so much pain. His feet were so sensitive from the pain that when I attempted to massage them by hand, it was impossible to touch them, even gently. I first got him one of those manual wooden hippie foot massagers that look like an abacus kind of. It wasn't enough and it wasn't comfortable to use. So I started next to look at something more heavy duty like this, and we're both so glad we did. I was sold when I saw a review on here from a nurse who was on their feet all day and found relief through this product. So I'm here to pay it forward for the next person considering something like this because it really did help so so much.We give this product 5 stars, but we'd give it more if we could. He uses it 3 times a day and now his shifts are more bearable. His feet still hurt at the end of his shift, which we all know that good shoes and good insoles can only help so much with, but now that he comes home and uses this, the pain is not an issue anymore overall because after using this machine his feet feel much better. He uses it 3 times a day even on days when he is off work. He keeps it at his desk and turns it on while he's gaming. The remote that comes with it is handy for this device. In just 15 minutes, he goes from groaning about how bad his feet hurt back to normal, and I am so happy.Even on the lowest settings, if you are someone who is not used to regular foot massages, this machine will take time to get used to. We both started out not using the inflatable pressure part that sways your feet because that made things more intense than we could handle at first; now he uses it at full blast on every setting comfortably. We both wish the vibrations for the heel of feet were a little stronger but it still feels great. I have used it on my calves and that feels amazing too. You can conveniently adjust the bar that looks like a handlebar that is NOT a handlebar to position it at different angles based on how you will be sitting when using it. We felt the vibrations on the heel best while seated with the massager at a tilt, rather than flat. The price made me hesitate at first, but there are not a lot of options out there for something like this that have such good reviews. I have no regrets at this point in this purchase for spending this much money on this machine and it has fully met our needs.

Worth the money
I have a lot to say about the product, but first I want to say something about the customer service. Within 24 hours of receiving the massager, the moveable stand/legs had come out of place and no longer worked properly. I emailed Cloud Massage directly in the early evening on May 24 -- the start of Memorial Weekend when most people would have checked out -- yet customer service got back to me within an hour. After promising to make sure I would be taken care of, the rep helped me try to fix it, and when that didn't work, they sent me a replacement unit first thing on Tuesday. We've since used it for several days and it's worked perfectly. I don't know what other people's experiences are with Cloud Massage, but they more than exceeded expectations in handling my issue, and I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. As for the unit itself, I spent weeks looking at every option available, reading all the "top massager" lists online and suffering through every customer review like this one for each and every product. It was a brutal task, but we ultimately thought this was the best unit and worth the higher average cost. After using the massager, I strongly believe it was the right choice, and though I didn't personally experience the other options, I am fully confident that the Cloud Massager is superior. Now here is what to expect. Air pressure comes from the sides, and rolling mechanism (feels like strong fingers) massages the bottom of your feet. And yes, it is very strong, even in the lowest setting, which I know might be a concern for some. Now big picture, you cannot make a weak massager stronger (and most, in my experience, have been on the weaker side, at least in years past), but you can make a strong massager feel gentler. For starters, you should always wear socks because you don't want the massager to smell like your nasty feet, but it also reduces the direct pressure. That should make it gentle enough for most people, but those with particularly sensitive feet can also wrap a hand towel around their feet to reduce the pressure more.Likewise, you should keep in mind that your feet need to adapt, so start on the lowest setting with socks (and maybe a towel) for a shorter period of time, and then work your way up. Having had it a week, I started on the lowest level and thought I would stay there, but I'm already going a pressure level or two higher for some cycles. Really, it's the device's ability to apply strong pressure that really takes it over the top for me, and the pressure should not scare people away because it's easy to moderate. Another high point, btw, is the rolling mechanism on the bottom of my feet. It simply feels great.Last thing for my Amazon mini-novel here. I am a tall guy with a large frame and size 12.5 to 13 shoes, so I worried that my calves would not fit in the massager. I could not find any information on this from the reviews. Maybe it could be an issue if you're the size of Boogie Cousins (that's a basketball reference for the football heads out there), but my calves fit well in the device, and I enjoyed the massage. The air pressure especially seemed to break down some of the tightness in my calf muscles.Alright, I hope all this help you in making the right purchase. Again, I did not try the alternative devices (though I read up extensively on them), but my research led me to believe Cloud Massage was the best choice, and so far my experience with it reconfirms that opinion, at least for units in the under $400 range.

Not the answer to world peace.
Tired old nurse here. I worked ICU for 25 years and never understood what people were talking about when they complained about their aching legs and feet. Especially since I worked barefoot - just socks and paper surgical booties. Three years ago I moved to a warmer climate and switched to the ER.They expected me to wear shoes. At first I thought my feet hurt because I was wearing the "wrong" shoes. So I bought more shoes than I've owned in my entire life. Sole insert frenzy followed. After a year of sore feet my calves started hurting also, so I added compression hose (it brought a tear to my eye since the reason I was barefoot to begin with was because of menopausal flames). I slept with my feet elevated. But the pain progressed. I began to have trouble sleeping because my feet and calves would cramp up and I found myself stretching and groaning for hours after going to bed. To the dog's dismay, it progressed to kicking. All other options failed, I broke down and embraced my medicine cabinet. When I purchased this massager I was using acetaminophen, ibuprofen, melatonin, diuretics, gabapentin, muscle relaxers, and the occasional narcotic just to sleep between shifts. When I bought this on Amazon my only expectation was for it to feel good while it was running. What I ended up with is something that has resolved 75% of my problem. I put it on the foot of my bed after hobbling home from a 13 hour shift and use it a full cycle on my feet, full cycle on my calves, and usually a repeat of the feet. The massage is pleasantly stronger than I would have thought possible and I can see why some find it to be too much. It's relaxing while it's running but honestly, a month in, I don't really notice it. I do it religiously as therapy after a working because I am then able to sleep soundly without any drugs. There is still discomfort when I get up, but it's not my whiney hobble. The pain reduction is also notable while at work. Why does this work so well for me? My opinion is that I am getting lactic acid build-up in my legs (lactic acid hurts). I go to bed as soon as I get home so the lactate stagnates there. The massager manually forces effective circulation and clears it out. That, or I have a Foot-Fairy Godmother.Enough about my tired dogs --- and the one I kicked across the room. The "cloud" massager is VERY HEAVY and UNWIELDY. Unfortunately, I thought that it had a sturdy handle and that's how I was moving it around. When one side of it started to loosen a week later, I contacted the seller to ask if there was a way for me to just pop it back in. It still worked fine, but required a little manipulation/extra care on my part each time I repositioned it. That was when they informed me that what I had been using to lug this beast around was NOT A HANDLE, which I would have known if I'd read the User Manual or viewed the Educational Video as instructed. It's only purpose is to tilt the massager to the angle most comfortable for you.And then they sent me a brand new one.WHAAAAT?!! Oh yes they did. Told me to discard the broken unit responsibly and to have a nice day. Fantastic company, great customer service, and a product that has honestly improved my quality of life. It just doesn't get any better than that.......unless it's the answer to world peace, I suppose that would be better......

Has some cons that I'd wish I'd known before purchase. Not worth the money
We purchased this foot massager based mostly upon the reviews on amazon, as well as outside sites that had recommended this as one of the best available. I would disagree. While it is a decent machine, it's developers missed the boat on making this an exceptional/best of the best possibility. Here is what I noticed:** It has no remote control on this model. To some, this is no big deal but for those that have a bit harder time moving around after getting in a comfortable position, (i.e laying), it's an up-down every 15 minutes, to hit the power to run another cycle. Having a full remote (with options same as the panel) would be a huge improvement.**15 minutes. That's it. Times up. Really? I'd like more options (10, 15, 20, 25, whoa 30? Yeah. Why not?)**You have to RESET the settings EVERY time you run a new cycle. 15min is up and DING! Sit up, manually reset all the settings you have already put in before (god forbid you run the cycle more than twice.) It forgets the last programmed settings. To me this should be a no brainer. If I take the time to set it to my preferences, it should remember last. Then if someone else is using it, they can fiddle with it as they wish. However, if Im the only one using it, its one extra irritating step. Not to mention that I dont dare put my feet /legs in until I have powered on and manually reset -- otherwise, it grips the crud out of my feet/legs and is very painful. (Im a no pressure gal -- YIKES!)**There should be a middle squeeze /pressure level at minimum. Again, seemed like a no brainer to me to add something in between " Nope. No squeeze for you, you big baby" to the extreme opposite "High pressure/squeeze until your eyeballs pop out and your toes fall off." But again, I'd sure like a LITTLE pressure-- better yet, a sliding scale of set your own! A novel idea.** Holy smokes is this thing heavy! Dang. Im no weaky but I didnt realize I'd need a hand truck to move it from room to room, on/off the bed, out to the chair under my desk. Hey, why not add a couple wheels on it? Too much? I don't know, but wow. I need a back massager after moving this foot massager. EEK.**Heat is either off or on.. no other choices. I understand liability and they may be afraid to put too much heat for fear of a burn, but if they are ok with adding pressure that could kill a small animal, I think a few extra degrees for options would be nice. No heat. Warm, ahh thats nice. Really warm, oh now thats relaxing!, Hot. Yep, can feel that in depth. Im ok with this today, maybe not tomorrow. Hell-Fire-Damnation, somebody call the fire department my feet are fire. You get the drift.**Vibration--on or off. Seeing a pattern here, dont you? Yes, I'd like to be able to have minimal (a sweet ippity-tap), medium (some gentle Karate chops, HiYah!), to a high (is that an earthquake??) Or again.... give me a sliding knob for a specific adjustments. Just a thought.**For the HIGH COST of this thing, (to me anyway. Need to mortgage my house now), I'd expect the designers to have thought of even the most basic of things above. At minimum a remote with a remember me setting. My fiance likes it pretty well, and even though he's a pretty strong dude, he gripes when he has to move it as well. He's nice enough to move it for me sometimes, otherwise I'm on my own. Personally, I think there is something out there that would have given me more customization for the cost. But that's just me.

UPDATE: Defective upon arrival
*** UPDATE: Ordered another one and it works great! I actually used the box from the repurchase to return the defective one since the original box was damaged in shipping. ***I purchased this item as a gift for my husband and it was a qualifying Prime shipment so arrived quickly; but it arrived packaged with the original box inside of another larger box and the original interior box was damaged. I was hopeful the machine was ok because after my husband took it out of the packaging, it did not appear to have any physical damage or broken pieces to the exterior of machine. Unfortunately, once he tried operating it for the first time today, the Shiatsu rollers do not work. The machine starts roaring loudly when it switches the roll function (Shiatsu massage) and the rollers do not function whatsoever, just the obnoxiously loud roaring noise. I’m not sure if this is a factory defect or if it could be a result of the damage that was on the outside of the box… appeared to have been dropped or possibly hit by something.I am sure it is just a one off and not an indication of the products overall quality, but can’t rate the product with a high star/satisfactory rating when we did not receive a good quality product. Hopefully, once I return it to UPS, the will refund immediately and I can get him another one.

Game Changer!
I impulse bought this after seeing it on an episode of Hard Knocks where it was given as a gift. Even though it seemed like an obvious product placement, I was intrigued. I knew foot massagers existed but I was unaware of the calf muscle option. I’ve owned it for a week and use it for 15 minutes on my feet and 15 minutes on my calves daily. I’m 59.5 years old, have type 2 diabetes, and have suffered from plantar fasciitis in the past.First, the feet. I’ve been using the lowest setting with all four options (heat, air bags, vibration, rollers) working. I lay it flat on the floor and let it time out at 15 minutes which is plenty. The rollers work the outside and toes of your feet vigorously but don’t affect the arch, or at least not mine. I use a massager for that. The air bag compresses and releases pressure into your feet which is worth the price of admission. For the calves/ankles, I lay it flat again on a stool in front of my couch. I had to experiment to see what position worked for me. The rollers really don’t offer much but the airbags once again are the star of the show. I’ve set this on the second lowest level and I believe this has greatly improved my circulation. My feet are size 11.5 and I believe a bigger foot would still benefit, maybe up to 15, although I’m just guessing. It’s fairly big and heavy, maybe the same as a small microwave oven. I choose to move it in and out of my living room for each use, but that may not be realistic for some.As far as value, it comes with a 1 year guarantee. Being Canadian, I paid 260 plus tax delivered to my door, so even if i had to replace this after2 years it would cost me 50 cents a day. Well worth it, although I’m hoping for far longer. Also, apart from what I feel is a physical health benefit, there is also the stress relief I enjoy for the half hour a day I use this.I think this is an excellent product. Thanks Miami Dolphins!
