12x17 Picture Frame

Just received this today and am completely satisfied with every aspect of a very inexpensive frame. I happen to be in a season where it has to be that way for now but this is such a special piece that I needed framed, and I only wanted something simple that would enhance the artwork of someone I love very much. Five stars! Oh I included a photo of how it was packaged not finding fault at all ... I thought it was rather clever, especially when I dropped the box myself before opening it! It was a very sturdy box and it had this square thing that you can see in the photo in one corner to protect it from banging around and if the opposite edge of the frame happen to hit down it was sturdy enough to handle it. Just never seen anything like that, so kudos to the designer!

This is an excellent purchase! What I like about this picture frame is the size (hard to find locally) and that the frame itself is one solid piece (I didn't want a frame that was tacked together with staples or glue). It came with a high quality plastic cover and the backing was of a stiff cardboard that was also good quaity. The price was very reasonable and delivey excellent. I highly recommend this seller. I needed a 9x12 frame for a picture that I had to hang in my bathroom and this was the perfect price. The quality seems okay and it looks great hanging on the wall.

This is a cute, inexpensive black frame in a hard to find size. Although the materials are very lightweight, it doesn't look particularly cheap up on the wall. I mounted a replica of the Voyager record on thin black velvet, and everything fit, so it's deep enough for more than a flat piece of paper. The clips holding the backing on are reusable, not the horrible metal ones you have to bend into place. The first one I got looked like it had been flexed in handling—the plexi was cracked and there was a white line where the frame itself had been bent. Amazon made it right immediately and the second one is perfect for my needs. So, do open it and check it as soon as it arrives, and expect to handle it gently. But for less than $10, I'm actually very pleased.

You know when a frame says that it will fit a certain size photo and it actually fits that size? Well, the people that make this frame don't know how to measure correctly. The frame description for the inside measurements says it will fit 12"x17" photos, but that's incorrect. I have a mini-poster that is exactly 17 inches tall, but this frame is off by 1/8th inch, so my poster won't fit inside. I had to take the time, trouble, and damage risk to cut my poster to 16 7/8". I've framed countless photos, posters, and artwork and this is the first time the frame dimensions are incorrect. It's not ideal and false advertising, so I suggest the seller change the measurements to the accurate dimensions, so when people are shopping for the precise size for their image, it will fit properly. It is a cheaply made and cheaply priced frame, but it looks nice enough and will do the trick as long as you know its correct dimensions. Thank you for your time and consideration. 🖼 📐🤨

I needed a simple frame with a mat for an 11x14 diamond art picture. After searching several options, I came across this frame. It’s perfect, simple to install without needing instructions! The spring holders on the back also keep the picture tight against the plastic screen. Not real glass, but just fine for my purposes of framing simple art. This kit also came with two nails and sawtooth brackets which allow you to orient the frame in either direction.

While this was deemed visually negligible once the artwork was in place, it highlights a potential area for improvement in quality control. To achieve a seamless aesthetic with the limewashed walls, I successfully sanded the frame and painted it with the same limewash finish, demonstrating its adaptability to customization. Overall: This frame is a functional option, particularly for those with specific size requirements. Not a good quality, back support board is totally different size

The quality on this does not justify the price. The plastic “glass” arrived already scratched and easily gets scratched even with just a fingernail. The frame is light weight which is good for hanging but not the quality I’d expect from a $63 frame.

Very poor product, cheap plastic frame that warps easily or was warped before arriving. The wooden insert frame didnt fit properly so the frame appears buckled and is not straight. Would not recommend at all

So, the actual frame part is nicer than i imagined based on other reviews (bought anyway as i needed this specific size), but there's much room for improvement. So the first issue is that it arrived in a paper bag, with no additional protection than the thin, plastic film the frame is packaged in.. so like others my frame arrived damaged (i was lucky that it is a small chip in the plexi glass and not particularly noticeable). One thing that is really annoying though, is that they opted for the SMALLEST POSSIBLE sized plexiglass, so on my first attempt of sealing the frame i noticed there was a 2mm gap between the top frame and the glass..😒 really annoying and just so stingey over the sake of a few mm. I found it was exactly the same with the frame back, which has a 2/3mm gap exposed. Another concern, is that all the metal pieces on the frame back protrude too far into the interior of the frame, and what looks like rust stains(?) are on the back of the paper that comes inside the frame.. due to this i left that piece of paper between my print and the frame back in an attempt to protect it. On a positive note, the frame looks decent enough in quality once you've dealt with these issues, and actually has a nice velvet like texture. I also appreciate that the frame stand is one of those that does not protrude the frame exterior, so doesn't interfere when hanging with command strips. On that note though, if that's your preferred hanging method, the back of the frame is only about half the thickness of the narrow command strips 😵 so it's gonna be awkward in that regard.
