One simple question, is it magnesium Chetale or Oxide ?

I checked with Carlson Labs and they responded that the product is 120mg of magnesium glycinate, and 80 mg of magnesium oxide, per tablet. I just read your question...sorry for the long wait for a precise answer. Hope this helps. :)

How large are the tablets? Are they coated?

The tablets are quite large, and they are not coated. Because of their packaging, they usually leave powder at the bottom of the bottle. The do seem to dissolve fully when taken, however, and don't seem to upset my stomach.

The Carlson product labels don't look like the ones depicted here... are these old products, or just old photos of the product?

Carlson has started to change the labels on some of the products so some of the old labels may be out there. Always check the expiration date on the bottle to determine the age of the product.

It is not a small pill, at almost an inch long. But, it is not a capsule so my husband just breaks it in half and takes it.
