Good quality and sharp image.
This is my second purchase of these. I lost the previous pair (which were labeled as a different brand). I like these a lot. They give a very clear and sharp image and are pretty powerful. They are good quality. They are not too big to take hiking. The only downside is that the bottom lens caps sometimes fall off of the binoculars and I almost lost one a couple of times. I'll put a dab of glue on the band that holds them to the binoculars. I still give these five stars.

very good binoculars for a very reasonable price
opened the box and went to spy on the osprey nest we've been watching without any magnification. very happy with how easy these are to use. there are a few 12x50 choices on amazon. I picked these for shipping speed and reviews. others are cheaper and close to the reviews here. I'd guess they are all about as good as each other.

Company followed up and resolved my issues
UPDATED: While some of the issues I had with this set still exist, the seller reached out to me with a refund and sent out their new and improved version which are a bit better, granted 10x40 instead of 12x40, which I actually like a bit more as it's easier to steady them by hand. In any case, due to that amount of effort and follow up in standing behind their products and business, I'm improving my rating.Previous Review: These low end ones really are cheap, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I was expecting that to some degree. It's noticeable that these are sold from a supplier that offers a change of branding for the same product. The logo on these particular binoculars are basically an inset sticker. i'm sure all the others are the same. And I'd bet the cost of them unbranded are likely closer to $15. THAT is what they are worth. $30 or $40 and you'd probably be better off getting something good for even a bit more $$. With that quality also comes false advertising. The listing states "View of field: 94m/1000m(300ft/1000yds)" however the instruction booklet that comes with it says it has an angle of field of 5.4 degrees. Every internet source I looked at says calculate the AoF by 52.5 to get the VoF. In this products case it's 283.5ft/1000yds. Granted, other suppliers of this same product lie worse and put it in the 400's. Just be aware of what you're buying... Couldn't get the image to focus with 100% clarity with or without my glasses on. Glasses were not much of a problem, other than it being somewhat uncomfortable to push the binoculars into my glasses. The phone mount (which is primarily why I was interested in this set) is super cheap and barely fits my moto G5 with it's case on. Hopefully whatever I intend to photograph through these sticks around for a couple minutes while I struggle to get it on. The spring inside the phone mount also feels like it only has a handful of times where I'll be able to stretch it that far before it snaps. To that extent, I was disappointed that a cheap tripod adapter was not included and by comparison would rather have that, than a camera mount as I'll probably now need to buy both. This one is a bit more on me, but when they said "Tripod Compatible (Not included)" I thought they meant the tripod, not the adapter for it, or that one was needed. It's in the fine print, but in never hooking one up before myself, wasn't particularly clear to a newbie. Another reason for emphasis on the tripod setup over the phone adapter is because at 12x, you're really going to have a hard time steadying the image even if you're in a chair and your elbows are propped. Oh yeah, and there is no room in the carry case for the phone adapter. My advice is to budget closer to $75 and get something good - then buy all of your adapters on your own once you understand your product. Especially if these are your first pairs. This pair may end up going to my kid when she's a bit older if they hold up that long.

Just what I needed
Good product at a reasonable price. I have only used them once. We will see if it gets 5 stars.

One eye cup is loose
Im going to return these as one of the eye cups are too loose and don't stay in place very well. And there are dark or dark tinted spots most of the time when i look through them. But the eye cup thing is probably just a defection. They are not the worst but not the best either. They do have good zoom and very good focusing.
