I’ve had my trusty Brother HL-2270DW for 14 years and have always stuck with genuine Brother TN450 toner. However, costs have skyrocketed, so I decided to take a chance on a generic replacement. I’m really glad I did. It works just as well, and at a fraction of the price!

I own or maintain about thirty Brother printers for ten years. This replacement worked well. It was not cheaply made as the plastic casing is well designed and reinforced in many places others are not. The color is unique and it is VERY easy to identify which pieces to discard. READ the DIRECTIONS and ensure you move the tab across and back that is mounted on the edge of the cartridge. When it comes to replacing the Brother drum unit be aware that the Brother drum unit is the best made for their printers. It was designed by molding engineers that reinforced the structural plastic to keep this unit RIDGID. This allows the use of non brother ink cartridges to be used. The brother ink cartridge is also the best but it is expensive. I have owned or used other printer brands but Brother is the best I have used since 2009.

Installed this E-Z Ink TN450 compatible cartridge in my Brother laser printer and it worked perfectly right away. My old cartridge was leaving streaks, and this one cleared that up immediately — crisp, clean prints from the first page. No setup issues, no compatibility problems — just plug and print. Great value and solid performance so far. Will definitely buy again when it’s time to replace.

We are always iffy when it comes to ordering third party ink or toner, We just haven't had a whole lot of luck with it, but the price was right and it was eligible for amazon prime so we decided to give it a shot. I would like to start with the instructions. Most products give us sketchy instructions that provide little if any help. The instructions that were provided with this were very clear and easy to follow, it provides written instructions with with clear pictures above it. The instructions were very easy to follow. Thank you for this. The product its self was easy to install and when we compared it to our old cartridge I do have to say that it seems to print better at 300 DPI, 600 DPI and 1200 DPI, the quality just looked better all around. When we held the toner cartridge up and shook it we didn't get a whole lot of powder falling out like we have from many other toner cartridges, we would like to think this speaks well of the quality. I know I hate it when the toner powder comes out and gets all over everything in your printer. We have been ordering our toner from another sources for years and after receiving this we will be ordering from these guys from this point forward or until we are given a reason not to. I would suggest these guys, or at least tell you to give them a shot. Thanks for an excellent product.
