Aubert VB-5 Select Aged Violin Bridge - 1/2 Size

this was to big for my daughters violin it was hard to push down on her strings! over all im not impressed will not buy from this company again

Took it to the music store and they had to modify it because it was too big for the 3/4Violin I had.

The bridge is not really fit the 3/4 violin you need to adjust a lot by yourself.

Good quality bridge that needed a little trimming and fitting work to make it perfect. Recommended for anyone with some wood work skill and access to you tube.

Way To Big

Does not come shaped or notched as pictured, but it is a large blank to be shaped and fit for your specific violin. Very nice tone when finished.

I used the old bridge to draw an outline on this new one. Then I sanded it down to shape and made the little notches with a knife. The sanding and fitting took a little time and adjusting the feet to fit the contour of the violin was delicate. The result is good and we think the tone has improved. I ordered two, so if the bridge brakes - like the old one did - I don't have to wait two weeks for an Amazon delivery!

Cambio de sonido total en cuanto que se instala en el violín. Aunque hay que ajustarlo para cada violín en particular.
