Good jems found but messy and can stain
Good fun kept my daughter entertained for a Sunday afternoon. However very messy / dusty does stain if not wiped up as soon as builds up. My 11yr old daughter used gloves on her hands as the dust got everywhere.

Good value gemstone kit, great for learning
This is a great value gemstone kit. Our little one really enjoyed digging out the stones and using his gemstone book to research the stones. Great also for kids learning practical skills like using a hammer and chisel. Only cons are the plastic tools are not up to the job. I had to use my tool kit!

Gem stone digging set
Bought as a Christmas gift for my nephew. He loves digging out the gems apparently itโs given him hours of fun. Great value for money, educational and takes them off there screens for a while!

Crystal missing
Granddaughter was excited to find the crystals but it was a let down by only being 14 instead of 15 and her favourite the rose quartz was missing. The concept is such a good idea and kept her busy but a bit disappointing

Messy but fun
Optimistically thought we could contain the mess on a tray! How wrong we were. Child was intermittently washing hands and I believe this is why he was stained like a Smurf, ah well, as his skin sheds it will fade. There is a slight blue hue to the carpet which we hope will fade, Dr Beckmann managed to get the majority out of the carpet. As for the excavation, he thoroughly enjoyed it as well as matching up the gems to the guide. One was very small, which could have easily have been thrown away, but we had fully embraced the mess by this point. Iโm rocking some blue in my hair whilst googling whether my child will need a note for school on Monday explaining his blue complexion. Oh yeh, he made a paste with the chalky dust and rubbed it all over himself. Parents. May the odds be forever in your favour
