TIMBER RIDGE 400lbs Heavy Duty Camping Chair Portable Directors Chair

I’ve been using this chair for a few months now and I’m really pleased with it. Once you get the hang of opening and closing the chair, it’s easy to setup and collapse. I really like how the back folds down to make the folded chair much more compact that similar style folding chairs. Fabric is heavy weight, the frame feels very sturdy, and the table is quite functional. The organizer hanging from the side is large enough for essentials including a decent size water bottle - a typical plastic water bottle fits completely inside with quite a bit of room left over. The chair also has good carry handles, which is a bonus since the chair is a bit on the heavy side. Most importantly, the chair is quite comfortable to sit in and feels stable. I’m a big individual and I have plenty of room and no worries about breaking the frame. Excellent chair for my needs.

Very sturdy and comfortable to sit it. The side table is very useful. It snaps into place so you don't have to worry about putting your drink on it and it collapses. The chair is heavier that I expected but not too heavy. There is a carry handle. A shoulder strap would be nice. It takes a little bit of muscle to open and close it. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

I was looking for a heavy duty camping chair for my better half as he’s 6’6” and 300lbs. This chair is very comfortable and durable. We loved it so much we bought 3 of these chairs. Easy to carry with the built-in handle and easy to fold once you get the hang of it. Easy to keep clean. The side tray is a nice addition to hold your phone and drinks. The chair has built in pockets to hold other things such as books, glasses, pen, etc. Overall great camping chair. Highly recommend, especially for the durability and being heavy duty.

First impression- I like the color a lot. Chair seems to be firm yet comfortable, table seems sturdy (which I was nervous about after reading other reviews) Very easy to setup and take down. Chair seems to have a lot of functionality. We go to quite a bit of events (food/drink festivals) where we can bring our own chairs and set up, so I wanted something to easily Carry and setup without having to worry about a bulky chair or loosing or saving a bag. Im 5'2 and the chair seems to be fairly light. This chair seemed to be everything I wanted. The issues I have is after I opened and inspected and folded back up. As I said above, set up was super fast, after removing the protective coverings it had, I did it in about 10 seconds, if that. Take down, again 10 seconds. However after closing, I noticed it doesn't close as flat as it was. Which was a bummer because it takes away from the sleek look and slim feel. You can see on the pictures, one in particular, stays more open, which isn't a huge problem I guess. Not sure if I got one, that's a little faulty since only 1 is doing it. I'm going to try to attach a strap to keep it in place. Another thing that I wish this chair had was a shoulder strap attached. I ended buying one since the chair only has a hand strap at the top, though it isn't uncomfortable to carry. Over all I'd recommend with those cautions. I will update once. I use this weekend for a full day.

It is the most difficult item I have ever had to open up. True, I am a senior, but I thought strong. It took all my strength, with my feet on the lever, and pulling on the other side to get it to stretch sideways and lock in place. Otherwise, it went easily to open. Not yet in the mood to close it down. Other than that it is a superb chair. Doesn't sag, high enough back to support shoulder blades, sturdy and solid with no wobbling. I was fortunate to get one with the tray that folds down! So happy about that. It is heavy to carry, so I ordered a strap for over the shoulder carrying.

Regular folding chairs often have those crisscrossy frames that dig into the sides of my leg in front. Regular seats sag in the middle and are hard to get in and out of. This chair feels STURDY and is comfortable. I sat in one for hours at the beach recently and was perfectly fine. It is also easy to get in and out of. I loved that I had a cup holder and a tray for the plate of food I had. The cell phone slot is a great bonus. It took us a second to figure out how to open it, but once we understood what to do, it was very easy to set up and fold back down. I highly recommend this chair, especially if you can snag it on sale like I did,

This is an absolutely wonderful chair. Very well made, comfortable and has a very solid seat. I’m going to take it to the beach because I can’t sit in a beach chair. People complained about no cover to protect it during storage. I just put a big garbage bag over it since it sits in my shed. I bought a “used” one to save a little money and it is brand new. I can’t wait to get to the beach and use it!!! It is very hard to open the first time but once you get the hang of it, it’s fine.

These well made chairs are perfect to use at home, take in your RV, or keep in your vehicle for summer adventures. The straight back and seat make them very comfortable to sit in for hours. My husband is 6'2" and is very pleased with the fit. We have used these chairs for almost a year - best camping chairs we have ever had!
