I bought this shower filter for my son’s college apartment because the water there was making his hair feel dry no matter what shampoo or conditioner he used. He also constantly felt itchy after showers. He installing the filter, and noticed a difference within a few days. His hair feels healthier, and the itchy feeling is pretty much gone. Very easy to install and doesn’t reduce water pressure much. I purchased another one for my other college son. Definitely recommend if have hard water or treated with a lot of chlorine.

Well needed and works perfectly. I'm deployed in the middle east and the water here is very hard, has sand and other particles in it. The water can't be used to drink or drink, after showering I don't feel as clean as normal and when I use the water to wash my hair it feels rough and dry right after washing. I attached this water filter and it was a complete game changer. My hair is extremely soft and feels very clean. I have type 4 afro hair so the hot temperature and constant sand blowing gets my hair dirty but I don't have time to wash it often but with this attachment my hairs moisture lasts much longer. The power in the sprayer stays and it's very quick and easy to install. I attach and remove it every time I use it. Im sure someone would love to take this lol. My skin feels very clean and soft after using it. If this can clean brown dirty hard water in the middle east, I can't wait to see how well it works when I get home.

Wow, this shower filter really works! I noticed a difference after the first use. My hair feels so much softer, smoother, and easier to manage. AquaBliss SF100 shower filter. Overall I liked it and recommend it. The kit comes well-equipped: besides the filter, it includes plumber's tape and spare sealing rings (O-rings), which really helps during installation and saves you from having to buy extra parts. The installation itself is simple. The difference in water quality is real. Over time your skin feels softer and your hair improves — in my case it took about five days to notice the change, but it did come. That matched what many other reviewers reported too: water that feels "lighter," less of that leftover residue on the skin, and less mineral buildup. My one criticism is about a small part that comes with it, similar to a little strainer/washer with a metal mesh in the middle. The product doesn't really explain what it's for or when you should or shouldn't install it. It took me a while to figure out that it goes between the pipe threads and the filter, helping with the seal and catching larger sediment. Clearer instructions would solve that confusion. It's also worth noting, as several buyers pointed out, that you should be generous with the plumber's tape to avoid small leaks at the threads, and that the filter needs to be replaced periodically to keep performing well. For the price-to-value ratio and the results in the water, it's worth buying.

It is all that. It really works. It was incredibly easy to install. I grew up with a water softening system and what I didn’t know then that I do know now is they are pricey and I was very privileged. My skin and hair were very spoiled. Then being thrust into the real world of hard water and itchy skin and scalp. This shower head brought back all that spoiled hair and skin confidence. It works right away. It did not impact water flow. My only suggestion is when you are wrapping that tape 2-3 times maybe do 4 times. I couldn’t be happier. My skin is softer, my scalp isn’t itching and it definitely increased how far my shower products go.

This was a great investment. It came with a filter already and was very easy to install. No impact on shower pressure. What I notice most of all is the elimination of a skin rash which would result prior to the filter. I was gone for a month and didn't use my current shower and during the time the rash went away. However, initially when I returned and used this shower the rash slowly began to come back...until I installed the shower filter. I bought a 3 pack to make sure I don't run out.

I had my doubts, but it works so well. I noticed results after the first hair washing and my hairdresser just told me how great my hair felt. I have also noticed that my skin is not so dry. Easy to install.

TLDR: def removes something from water if there is something to remove, improve quality of water based on that, improved water pressure. I got an old house with hard water AND iron pipes so our shower is constantly covered in white and red film. Since moving in my husbands psoriasis has been constantly flared up and I developed an extremely sensitive scalp and both of us were dealing with more acne all over. I knew it was the water, my husband said I was being dramatic. But even getting out of the shower it felt like I was still covered in soap and shampoo. After my father, and experienced carpenter/house builder, confirmed I wasn’t being crazy, our water sucks. Problem is at this time we can’t get a whole house filter and our shower/tub is weird. Our tub is a walk in tub (think old person tub) and the water spout is deck mounted. The shower head is handheld and the hose comes from the deck mounted spout so there was no area to fit a filter at the source of the hose. The shower head holder is slide bar mounted and flimsy at best but what ever filter we installed needed to fit at one end of the hose. I installed the filter on the head side of the hose. Installation was easy, un screw the head from the hose, screw the filter on the hose and the head on the filter. I did have to add an O ring to the filter because there was one spot that leaked but it was resolved very easily. No fault of the filter we got a suction cup mount that’s working great especially because it elongates the handheld portion so increases the height of the head when mounted. I noticed an increase in water pressure immediately- barely turn on the water now for full pressure- so assuming we are saving some bucks there. First shower after I got out I actually felt like my skin was clear and clean, no residual anything on my skin from what I could feel. Husband even admitted after showering he felt a significant difference on his skin and especially his scalp, his most sensitive skin with the most flare ups. I was afraid I’d be disappointed when I washed my hair because I have dense, thick hair that hates being washed in the first place and after washing/conditioning was when my skin felt the worst. My hair hasn’t been this nice in so long. It feels clean after washing it and I can use so much less product to condition it. Def stocked up on filters so we don’t have to go through that again and working on replacing the hose and head so ideally we have the most filtered water while showering.

I had an old filter that made the water flow weaker. Removing that restored the strong water flow however i needed to filter out the chlorine content in my supply. Having been skeptical on this with the experience from the old filter, i tried it out. To my pleasant surprise it did not make my water flow weaker. This is excellent, for the chlorine filtering, will need some time to observe, but the water pressure alone is what makes this product excellent!

My shower head stream looks clearer and it feels good on my skin. I notice the difference of the water with using this filter. It's easy to install/attach to the shower head. I wish they have something this simple for the spray type sink hose.
