Beautiful card and fun game building your forest
It's a great game, mine was purchased as a return from amazon and the box lid was torn, but it wasn't for a gift so that didn't matter to me (altho I do wish the amazon resale would say /show the issue) It's a game with strategic goals, and the adding up at the end is not for the faint hearted, but it's beautiful artwork and you can play without strategy (but don't expect to win if opponents are strategisers!) The rules seem complicated at first as is often the case with a new game, but once you start playing it's very intuitive and enjoyable

Intensive forest-building card game with all your favourite European plants and animals
This is a great tabletop game based around buying the best cards to maximise the score of your personal forest. Each card represents a plant or animal, with a cost in cards (zero for some animals), a bonus - sometimes dependent on which cards you 'pay' to put it in your forest - and a victory point value, which is dependent on card combinations and/or the presence of other cards in your forest. The foundation of your forest is of course based on the different trees that you plant, because these are necessary before you can purchase any other animals or plants to add to the top, bottom and sides of each tree. The interplay between the different cards makes the game quite intensive and, as a result, an hour of playing can pass very quickly. The cards are high quality and the artwork is really good. Strategy is everything though it's not a particularly difficult game to master. The rulebook is a more like a slim leaflet than anything else, because all the information is provided on the cards (once you get used to the different symbols). To be honest, I've only tried Forest Shuffle as a 2-player game and it seems to work very well, so I'm keen to try it out with more players.

Easy to learn tableau building game
Wonderfully simple to learn yet complex in strategy. Beautiful cards in this tableau building game. The only downside is that the cards are not great quality and are not standard size so sleeving them is tricky. They are slightly smaller than standard card sleeves but It's so worth buying the game anyway as It's amazing

Fantastic game
Deceptively simple card game that never fails to entertain. Beautifully illustrated, this game works well at 2 and 3 players (haven't tried more) and each replay allows you to develop your strategy but the game mechanics means that there isn't one clear way to win which keeps it interesting. One of my favourite games.

Forest Shuffle
A really cool game with very nice illustrations of the flora & fauna of the local forest. It's fun and you can still learn/refresh your knowledge.

Great family game for nature lovers
Lovely board game to teach the whole family about forest life. It takes a bit of time to understand the rules and work out a plan for how to build a healthy forest (that gives you plenty of points in the end:-)) Beautiful cards and quite educational as well to realise how interconnected everything in nature is. We played it twice now withour thirteen-year old granddaughter and like it.

Nice game
This is a good little game with clear to follow instructions and pretty well made game board and cards. It is small enough to take on holiday and the whole family enjoyed playing.

Cute game
This is a really cute game, only played with 2 players so far but that works well. The cards are beautiful, it’s really nice for nature lovers. The rules took us a few reads to understand, and even then we ended up watching a YouTube video to help! But that’s maybe just us! Once we get it, and it is quick to understand, it’s really fun. A gentle wholesome game that takes about an hour to play.

Among the Best Games in Its Weight Range
Forest Shuffle occupies a specific and well-executed niche: ecological engine-building at a medium weight, where card interactions are interesting without requiring a rulebook consultation every turn. The placement structure is the clever part — species cards slot into the left, right, top, or bottom positions of tree cards, and since each slot holds one occupant, the spatial arrangement of your forest matters. Scoring emerges from the connections you build across your tableau rather than a single dominant strategy. The biodiversity scoring at the end, where the player with the fewest species in a given category scores nothing, creates consistent incentive to diversify rather than overoptimize one path. Component quality is good and the eco-friendly packaging is the real thing rather than a marketing claim. The BGG community rating consistently places this among the best games in its weight range, and that consensus is accurate. Unusually replayable for a card game, and one of the better designs to come from Lookout’s catalog.

FAKE AD
The game arrived damaged and appears to be a fake version, completely different from the description and from all the unboxings I watched.

Surprisely good
My husband and I are huge board gamers. Our favorites are things like Wingspan, Dominion, and other similar games. We bought this on a whim thinking it might be fun for the occassional pre game warm up and we were pleasantly surprised. We love it and it's become a part of our favorites rotation. It works well as a two player as well as with more (although I'm not a fan of more than four). It is a longer full game as two player, but goes pretty quickly with more players. We like the different options for points and just the general game play. For a card based game it's pretty good and has more of a boardgame feel to it. With the different variations you can use it doesn't get boring too quickly. All in all a great game! I think it would also be suitable for kids and as a family game, although younger kids might not understand all the card pairing advantages they could still play it easily.

Forest shuffle
Un juego entretenido al principio es algo laborioso pero mientras más le agarras la onda mejoras.
