Simple Mills Almond Flour Soft Snack Bars, Choc Brownie, 6pk, 30ct, 1.19oz

I bought these on a whim. I have the CHOCOLATE BROWNIE flavor option. I dont normally do brownies like this, but I recall liking the carrot cake ones a few years back. I bought a single box on sale. I would have ordered more but wasnt sure if I would like it. Because it was on sale from the warehouse, I assumed the best by date would be coming up soon (basically like a clearance item in a store-- usually best to plan to use it right away). I wasn't sure if it would still be fresh tasting. SO, just one box I got. YUM. I like the light natural chocolate flavor, lightly sweet, good texture. Just really pleasant. I would like to see more fiber in this, but overall it is a good snack. I dont even mind grabbing it as a mini breakfast. Just this morning I had one along with my coffee and a small cup of plain Kefir. It hit the spot, didnt upset my stomach, and also didnt make me think I had dessert. Yet, come evening I would grab for this as a post dinner num num. I am already ordering more in larger quantity as Subscribe and save, as well as the carrot ones. I remember the carrot cake ones and the banana cake ones were also nice for anytime snack, and that I liked them as is or crumbled over yogurt, ice cream, chia seed pudding etc, As I have tried a few flavors, I can say that they are all light in taste. I prefer that. Natural light flavor with very low sweetness. Nothing cloying or artificial tasting. If you wanted to make it sweeter, and enjoy more as a stronger dessert, maybe a nice cream cheese frosting would amp up the dessert vibe, or a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream. Ooh, or pudding. Added pics of Chocolate brownie and Spiced carrot cake.

Love these as they are GF so if I need a snack Bar I can carry it with me. Great quality & very convenient. Always soft & fresh. And better price than grocery store

Good product just not enough bang for the buck

When trying to avoid in these days bad ingredients and foods these are actually great and taste good. The problem is controlling yourself from eating one after the other. For the whole entire pack it's a great price and buying it individually. And as I said before they are so tasty and I'm saying it again because they are.

Reference the Brownie Bars: I ordered two 6 packs of the brownie bars. I have only opened one 6 pack. One of the boxes had only 4 bars in it, instead of the 5 that the outside of the box says it should have. Disappointing! These are not cheap to buy. I have only opened 2 boxes out of the 6 pack, as I only open a couple at a time. So, I do not know what I will find in the other boxes. Both of the boxes I opened were sealed. They did have a good best buy date on the individual boxes in this 6 pack. It is Oct 2025. Reference the Peanut Butter Bars: Again, I have only opened 2 boxes out of a 6 pack. One of these sealed boxes only had TWO bars in it, instead of the required 5! That is unacceptable. These bars are not cheap. Moreover, the outside box of the 6 pack said the expiration date was 01/2026. All of the individual boxes in this 6 pack have an expiration date of 01/2025. I received my order in July 2025. I do not appreciate receiving expired products.

This brand taste different than all the other brands. It not as sweet and not a chemical taste. It also lasts a little longer than all the other brands.

We love these bars. They are nutritious. My 89-year-old grandsons love them. They’re not high in sugar. The chocolate taste like chocolate they have a nice mouth feel with a little crunch here in there. And the price was excellent.

I have sampled a few of Simple Mills Almond Flour products and have, overall, been impressed with the quality, freshness and taste of the snacks. At times, it's hard to find good quality gluten-free snacks that doesn't lean heavily on sugar to mask the lacknof gluten. These brownies are slightly smaller than the size of cosmic brownies. They are filled with chocolate chips and seeds. The sunflower seeds ratio is much greater than the chocolate chips. If I had to rename these, I would lean more heavily on chocolate chips and less on sunflower seeds. Too much crunching and not enough ooey, gooey chew. The brownie minus the chocolate chips and nuts is actually a bit dry. Value for money: $5 for a box of 5 brownies is quite good when it comes to gluten free snacks.....but if I didn't have celiac, I would go with a different brand where I could get more for my money.
