Efficient, Smart, and Convenient Cleaning Solution!
The X8 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner has been a fantastic addition to our home. It is highly efficient, especially at sweeping dust and pet hair on our hard light colour ceramic floors and mats. Setup was easy—it mapped the floor automatically and identified rooms without any hassle. We love how it navigates the floor, adjusting height and intensity as needed. We have been using it regualry for two weeks and so far it is great. One of the standout features is the automatic charging and emptying, making it super convenient. The build quality feels excellent, and it works flawlessly through the mobile app, allowing us to set it to clean specific rooms effortlessly. While we haven't tested it on our thick carpet—where we use a heavy-duty vacuum with a brush due to cat hair—it has exceeded expectations on hard surfaces. The price is very competitive compared to other well-known brands with similar features. Highly recommended!

Surprised on how well it works despite bad reviews
The media could not be loaded. It works as expected for me. You do need to make sure it's floor plan is clear of cables and small things like spoons which it will attempt to gobble up.Worth the price because it cleans while you are at work. Something nice about a clean kitchen floor and living room carpet when you get home especially with a toddler roaming and destroying.Pros-------- the app is great gives you alot of info and manual control, never needed manual control so far.- programming with Alexa is great, "tell dobby to get cleaning" off he goes.- battery life is good, uses about 28% for our whole downstairs.- suction power is sufficient for carpet and door mats, I have it on full power for every room.- build quality is good, plastic bumper does come into contact with a few walls and edges of fireplace etc still in good condition.- can programme multiple floors, so when moving the base and unit upstairs, put it in its recognised starting position and choose upstairs and off it goes. If you do move furniture in a room it's worth sending it on a scanning run to remap the rooms.- the return to base station cleaning and hair cutting works well, (very loud though, warning for young kids and animals they won't enjoy it)Cons------- it will grab wires, charging cables and other items very easily and get stuck. That's obviously down to the person making sure all man made items are picked up ahead of time and wires tucked away. It will however notify you on the app if its stuck.- if you unplug it from the wall on the base it loses charge over a day. Basically meaning you need to leave it plugged in. Not the end of the world, I just forgot about plugging it back in and had to wait a few hours before it had enough charge.Overall it's been worth getting. Just know you will need to clean the rollers once every 2 weeks. But that depends on how much hair it's eating from the carpet. Cleaning is easy and doesn't need instructions. When the bag gets full in the base station, just shake it empty in your main bin. No point buying replacement bags.

Quiet, useful mapping, but too tall and dislike the 'voice'.
I previously owned the Eufy 30C 1500Pa Suction, which I've had for almost exactly 5 years before the battery began to fail (would randomly stop during cleaning, 'got stuck' in the middle of an empty area, etc), and decided to upgrade within Eufy to the L60.While it's still a good device, I must say it's an, emotionally, sad upgrade. There are things I enjoyed about the 30c which this lacks, or does differently. I've noted the differences here:- Voice/noise. The 30c simply beeped, whereas this has a musical jingle and an uncanny 'voice'. I'm not a fan of this, so turned the speaker sound down to mute it. That said, i'm really glad the loud starting beep that the 30c did is no longer present. The general cleaning sounds are also much more quiet, with the 30c being akin to a jet engine and this L60, while still being noisy, allows me to hear myself. It turned on while I was in a work meeting, and my co-workers couldn't hear the L60, when they could always hear the 30c.- Brush. The 30c has two brushes, but I've seen no reduction in cleaning ability for this one having just one brush. This definitely makes maintenance easier.- Mapping. This is where the L60 is much better. The ability to map your home and set rooms is excellent. As noted by others, it will travel in 'lines', by first going around the perimeter of a room before going back and forth. For this reason, it's an incredible upgrade, as the 30c would travel randomly and just push crumbs around. The L60 gets the majority of crumbs due to the systematic movements. I moved the docking station to another part of the room, and it was able to re-position the dock on the map without my input, after doing a brief scan to find where it was.- Scheduling. With both 30c and L60, you can schedule times for cleaning. The L60 also allows you to dictate which rooms to clean at that specific time. However, where the 30c allowed me to delete cleaning schedules, the L60 part of the app doesn't. The app lagged when I made a weekend schedule, so I tapped the button again, and now I have two weekend schedules (one active, one inactive) and I can't delete the redundant one.- App convenience. Eufy have a 'Eufy' app (previously Eufy security, I believe) and a 'Eufy clean' app. The 30c required the 'clean' app to be installed, and so i needed two apps in order to control both the hoover and my home cameras. The L60 integrates within the 'Clean' tab of the 'Eufy' app, so I'm able to delete the 'Eufy clean' app and save storage space on my phone.- Height. The 30c wins here. The L60, due to the LIDAR is taller. As such, it can't fit underneath some cabinets that the 30c could, including the hamster cage, and so we now need to move furniture to clean underneath areas which previously we never needed to do. it's also the reason we needed to reposition the dock, as we has the 30c stationed under our TV/entertainment cabinet, and so had to move some furniture around to find a new docking space as the L60 can't fit under there.- Getting stuck. Both the 30c and L60 get stuck on cables etc, so there's no change there. However, where the 30c would get briefly confused by our curtains, and would spin in place until it forced it's way out, the L60 is entirely incapable of dealing with curtains. Once it gets behind a curtain, the LIDAR can't figure out where it is, and so it just stops. It also 'eats' the curtains (ie, they get stuck in the wheel), which the 30c never did, and so I have to pull it free more often. Between this and the height, it's an added nuisance.- Emotionally. The stupidity of the 30c made it akin to a pet. He roamed around without a thought, cleaned the same place five times over, ran over our feet, was afraid of sunlight, and generally made us laugh. The L60, being so smart, feels truly like we have a robot in the home. It's systematic, never "in the way", which removes some of the charm. I originally had the 30c in part because I wasn't allowed any pets, and having this idiot thing roam around eating crumbs made me feel like I had a stupid dog on a timer. The L60 does its job well, but I have no attachment to it.To conclude. The height and voice are frustrating, and it can't handle curtains, but the mapping, convenience, and noise are great.
