Opening the package there was a strong chemical smell, so I aired it out for 2 days. I am pleased with it so far, it lays down well, adheres to my shower floor and it is non-slippery. It is cushiony to walk on.*** addendum. I have used the mats for over 2 months. I am very pleased with the product, they look great, not moldy or slippery. Like the color, would definitely buy them again.

I've had this tub mat for over a year and it works perfectly: stays in place and keeps me from slipping. However, I've noticed it was getting dingy on the down side and figured it was time to replace. But, after watching a ten second video here on washing it in the machine with an old towel, I did just that and... voila! It looks brand new! Can't believe I thought it needed to be replaced. This thing is going to outlive me.

I’m old and falling in the shower isn’t OK. This is perfect. It’s big, it has holes for good water flow, it feels firm not squishy under my feet, and the mint green color looks good. I like to wash my mats in the washer to get the slime and mold off it. You can do that with this mat. My last one didn’t have enough holes and got pink and black mold under it. On top of being gross, it was occasionally slipping on the shower floor. It is pricey, but I think it will last longer than others.
