Love the design and the weight of the product, feels lovely to hold and looks stunning. Bought the set as a treat for myself as have always wanted a nice cutlery set ... have since lost a teaspoon and ordered 3 more (cheaper through Viners site direct for individual items). I read of lot of reviews on this before I bought it as was nervous about buying online without being to see and touch the product. All the comments were positive except those about the teaspoons. The thing is, the teaspoon is exactly that... design for use as a small teaspoon, if you are used to what I call a ‘normal’ sized teaspoon this will feel strange at first but after a month of using I’m completely used to the size now, you adapt how much you need using a smaller spoon, you just have to get used to it. The spoons seem about half the size of what I’m used to so still have some if my old ones kept separately. Great for eating yoghurts or anything out of a small pot and makes it last longer. Absolutely love the whole set, I use the desert knives and forks to eat my dinner, while my husband uses the proper dinner sized ones, the desert knives and forks are perfect for ladies with small fingers (like me) .. one of the best things I’ve ever bought and the packaging was also very smooth and nice to touch. All round quality product for a good price, will definitely buy more to make my collection bigger.

Chance of my being around in 50 years must be slim so... We bought these to replace a couple of cheapie sets of cutlery that we'd used for years and years. It was the rust spots on the knives that finally persuaded me to change. This set is very shiny indeed, like it's been hyper chromed. The individual items feel nice in the hand and are a good weight. There are no annoying corners or edges to catch the fingers. Beauty is subjective but I very much like the design. It's classic but modern at the same time. Each piece of this set is slightly smaller than its predecessor sets but you soon become accustomed to the change. I wouldn't use the teaspoon and dessert spoons as exact measures for a recipe but that's really nit picking. Definitely worth the money.

This set arrived to supplement an existing Viners 18/10 cutlery set purchased 20 years ago. This set arrived in a nice box with each item individually packaged. Each piece is well made and feels heavy and substantial. The immediate impression is that they will last many years. This brings me to the guarantee - 50 years which is very impressive and an indication of the faith Viners have in their products. Viners make much of their British heritage and the packaging notes that the cutlery is 'designed in Britain'. However on closer inspection (in fact on very closer inspection) in tiny font tucked beneath the barcode it states that the cutlery is made in Indonesia, which is a bit disappointing.

Beautifully made everyday stainless steel cutlery. These have been bought as an engagement present and will, almost certainly, serve the recipients needs every day in the years ahead. They are stylish, beautifully balanced and, being stainless steel, totally dishwasher proof.

So disappointed. I have never had decent cutlery and was looking at this for months before I splurged and bought. My old cutlery was mismatched, rusty and frankly an embarrassment. This lives up to the hype when it arrives. Easy to hold, stylish and soo shiny. However, despite saying safe for dishwasher it isn't. Mine arrived 21.03.25, and I have mostly handwashed, with occasional dishwasher use. The knives particularly were showing water stains and some rust, so just rinsed in soapy water to polish off. Most of these stains would not remove until I used a scourer. So, if you want to use these for best, and treat them with kid gloves, then this is the set for you. If like me you wan to spent hard earned cash on some decent cutlery for everyday use, and use the dishwasher, then I suggest to look elsewhere.

I bought two sets to mostly replace all cutlery I previously had. Most were obviously bought from Ikea, so here are my thoughts: - I love the weight, it does not only add to the premium feel but is actually more comfortable to eat with - These do not scratch easily. They are dropped into a dishwasher with the rest of cutlery and in 2+ months of use shine as if they are brand new with no visible scratches - They do not creak on plates. Inexpensive Ikea forks creak on some plates which is very annoying. These do not. - They look nice and do not have any sharp edges. I would definitely recommend going for a set (or two) of these. Some might use them for the times guests come in but we decided to switch to these for all meals. They just make your average meal feel a bit more special!

Bought this cutlery because my wife loved our son's collection. It came way early. Each item is a pleasure to use because of the smooth curves. The knives cut well. However, some might not like the set because the small desert spoons are considerably smaller than teaspoons. We purchased additional serving spoons and desert forks to have a more practical set.
