how is it made? from what is it derived?

It contains alfalfa powder, ascorbyl palmitate, rice flour & silicon dioxide in a cellulose capsule.

Why does the description not just come right out and say it's mk4 if that's what it is??? why do we have to scour all the test trying to find it?

The product I purchased. shows mk-4 right on the product label.

We can't tell what Susan was referring to that was "not mk-7," but Elaine's label told the story. MK-7 is short-hand for menaquinone-7, a form of vitamin K-2. Every container has a prominent display of "Supplement Facts" listing the major, active ingredients. Below that will be listed "Other ingredients." Read your labels.
