Wow these are so handy! They’ve completely prevented my favourite trainers from getting a hole in the mesh. Very easy to use and stick inside my shoe and can easily fit in most shoes. Theyve been in my shoe now for almost 2 years and they’re still working. I should have ordered white instead of black!

Taken me a while to write this review as wanted to test them properly. Couldn’t believe how well these work. I’ve always had problems finding something that would stop me getting the same tell tale hole in expensive running trainers but these are amazing. Sticky and easy to apply. I’ve got them in all my trainers now. Great value for money as helps keep my Saucony’s in great condition. Now it only when the soles go after many miles that I need a new pair. 🙌🏼

I think this is my 4th purchase of these. Before I used them I’d get a hole in my left shoe after 200-300 miles. With these that hole doesn’t appear in the lifetime of the shoe (I’m embarrassed to say but that can be 1500 miles!). These really do the job. They are the perfect size to protect or repair the shoe. They are very easy to apply to the shoe - follow the instructions and they are attached to a piece of cardboard that you cut to size which guides the fit position. They stick almost forever. I’ve only ever have 1 start to peel off and that was when the shoe was ancient. If you buy them to repair a shoe then the colour might be obvious, otherwise once fitted you never see again so the colour is irrelevant. And if like me you only get a hole in one side buy a pair of 2 lefts or 2 rights to protect 2 pairs of shoes. They are already cheap but this then saves double the shoes.

Would recommend. This is the third pair I bought, first pair went on old trainer to stop hole getting any bigger and the second pair on new trainers to stop hole from appearing. The third pair I bought was because the left "preventer" came off so needed replacing. I docked it one star because they seem expensive for a small bit of material.

Simple to use and fit. Extends the life of your shoes in a few minutes. Just cut the supplied template down, peel off the backing. Stick in your shoe and push the toe down. This is the second pair of these I’ve had and the first pair has taken my shoes to 1300 kilometres and they are still useable. If the holes had happened I’d likely have thrown them away. Good product and good price for something that works so well and makes your shoes last that bit longer.

Brilliant! Does the job perfectly. It will save a bunch of money in the long run by preventing holes appearing in the toe section of my trainers.

I definitely recommend these for prolonging the life of expensive running shoes with weak mesh front uppers. First of all, I’ve had no issue with the slight reduction in air circulation these stick on patches naturally cause. I’ve bought this item twice for my running shoes - the first time was after I had already put holes in the toe position of my ASICS Gel Nimbus 25s after about 200 km of use. The holes have not got worse since fitting and I’ve now covered 785 km. For my second pair of ASICS Nimbus 25s I fitted these protectors from day 1 and they are have no holes even after having now covered 558 km in these running shoes. Does exactly what they advertised and for my shoes the adhesive has kept them in place without issue, even through some heavy rain, soaking my running shoes. In conclusion, they seem expensive for a couple of stickers, but I feel worth it for expensive running shoes which gain significant extra life for those people whose big toes tend to create holes in their running shoes.

Works well for trainers with or without a hole. Easy to use and yet to see how long they last but so far so good. Glad I purchased to extend the life of my trainers and don't feel they are there

I have ruined shoes so many times because my big toe always makes a hole. These are the perfect solution. Easy to put in, durable and work exactly as described.

Does exactly what it says. Has definitely protected my shoes from damage. Will continue to purchase any time I buy new shoes

Good for patching holes in runners

Easy installation, works great! Put them in and walked 5-10 miles per day at Disneyland for 5 days. No holes...even though my toe touched that area the entire time! They saved my new expensive Nike shoes from being completely ruined. Highly recommend!!
