great tech item
works as advertised---I am now able to plug my fat32 usb music drive directly into my firestick and use the VLC app (which would not recognize the drive on an older Sanyo non-smart TV). Previously had to use the TVs media player which had a terrible user interface.

Workes as described
Worked as described for my Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max streaming device. Some apps transferred to the SD card and some didn't. This is an issue with the Fire stick and not the "HOXIBSL OTG Cable Adapter for fire Stick 4K Max,Added Memory to Your fire tv Stick,Compatible with Streaming Android Phone Tablet etc Device 3-Pack"

Power issues
While this item did function and enabled the firestick 4k max to read a thumb drive, I had continual power problems with the firestick constantly restarting every ~5 minutes with this item plugged in line. I was using the original firestick power supply and cord. When I removed the USB reader, the power issues stopped occurring.

These are USB firestick ADAPTERS not USB devices. They plug into the firestick and then you plug your USB into them.

Good for what I use it for.
It's great, and fits my usage purpose. I wish the pictures were more clear, and showed the direction of the USB-A and Micro B. I was able to barely see to make an informed purchase. Now the back of my TV is very low profile thanks to this adapter.

Es un buen aditamentos, te permite expandir la memoria de tu software de fire T. V. Stick ; pero no te detecta toda la memoria de tu USB como debería de ser y, tiene que ser virgen esta, si no, te la formatea para adaptarla a él.

An essential accessory for troubleshooting that stubborn stuck on a loop firestick. Nice and portable form factor.

This does not work. I tried using a 64 G SanDisk formatted to exFAT. The firestick would load and the TV worked just as it always had. When I checked the firestick storage it said "No external USB detected". In other words the entire effort was waisted. It was just a bunch of useless hardware getting in the way. Tried several different power supplies. The ones used to charge my phone. No change, same crap.
