Husband loves this. The cheap version we had rusted. This doesn't and washes well. It's well made, a good weight and should last many years unlike the other metal ridges ones. This has a smooth base but the weight helps keep any meat flat when cooking.

Solid, sturdy product, easy to keep clean and does the burger smashing really well. Feels like a premium purchase and that it will last a lifetime!

Beautiful piece of BBQ equipment. You could use anything to smash a burger but nothing else would be so satisfying! Money well spent. I've bought a few items of this brand and they are all unsurpassed in terms of quality.

nice and heavy, solid and well built. It has a large smooth surface area that flattens bacon or burgers out well. This helps cook them faster. Easy to pop into the dishwasher after use for quick cleaning, good value for money.

Product was fine

This is a really nicely finished item that has a nice weight to it. It makes flattening home made burgers really easy. I could probably achieve the same result by using the bottom of a saucepan or small plate or something like that, but who wants to do that! Once used, it is simple to clean as it has a really smooth finish so nowhere for meat to get stuck.

I used it to cook my bacon and it’s the first time in my life I was able to cook crispy bacon while resting the press on top. It has a good weight to it and the soft grip handle is superb. Thinking about buying another.

This is very effective at getting a good sear on meat. Surprisingly because it wasn’t the most expensive. It’s solid steel or alloy not sure which and a good weight with a nice handle. It improved the sear on my steaks but this was on the BBQ I’ve not tried it frying yet.

I’ve been using this Gourmet Easy press for a full year now, and it’s become a staple in my cooking. It feels really solid and stable when you're actually pressing the burger down. It’s also a breeze to clean, which is a massive plus. The only tip I’d give is that you definitely need to use a bit of baking parchment when you press, otherwise, the meat will stick to the press. Other than that, it’s a great bit of kit that holds up well.
