I have never written a product review before, but I just had to for this backpack. I am a working/pumping mom, and I bought this about two years ago for my pumping bag. This thing is amazing. The "picnic" compartment is roomy enough for my Spectra and lets me access it easily without unpacking all my stuff. The main compartment is super large and has multiple side pockets and compartments to keep me organized. AND if I need to lug my laptop around too (mine is 15"), the separate zip compartment at the back fits it easily and securely! This is truly the one bag for all your needs! On top of everything else, this backpack is durable and stylish. I like that it's not an obvious pumping bag so I can be discreet when I need to. When I was between babies I used it as a regular backpack for my huge textbooks and it held up marvelously. After two years of heavy use and being dragged all around, it looks brand new! To the sellers: Market this as a pumping bag and moms everywhere will thank you!

This is probably the coolest backpack I've seen in a long time, and perfectly fits my needs. I started taking the train more and it was a hassle carrying a backpack with laptop and my lunch. This bag can carry my laptop, lunch, plus everything else I may need, or had to carry before, plus looks great, has a whole array of pockets, is sturdy and well-made, with a well-thought out design and great security features (one set of zippers have the interlocking loops for a small luggage lock, and there are added loops to secure the laptop bag, and a bunch of hidden pockets). It is a bit more expensive than others but totally worth it and way better than buying a separate lunch bag. It even has a clear tablet holder that allows you to view and operate your tablet while it stays in the bag. I haven't used the USB port but I can see it coming in handy on longer travels. This pack has been pretty great for daily use commuting back and forth to work. The insulated pack is the perfect size for me to put my lunch in and something to drink. The pack has tons of room and pockets. The charging port is great, and worked well with my large battery backup. This pack fit perfectly under the seat in front of me on the plane. I only have 2 gripes with this pack. 1) The zippers need to be better quality. The zippers on this pack don't like to make the corners, and they also like to stop mid zip for no reason. 2) The compartment for the insulated pack should come with some kind of optional support, so if you're using it day-to-day for commuting that the inside stuff doesn't fall in the way of sliding the insulated pack in and out. A collapsible wire frame or something... that maybe would store flat on the bottom of the compartment if not needed.

Quality through out. Smart styling. Functional design. Well thought out. First day using it and my lunch stayed cold in the spacious insulated bag that fit nicely into the designated lower compartment. My 15" laptop fit easily into the side entry back compartment. Was concern it would be flat on my back and make me sweat. Due to the smart placement of padding, there wasn't any issues when worn. The exterior has a nice herring bone pattern on flexible yet durable material. Zippers move smoothly and the zipper pull tabs are large and finished nicely for a good grip. The carry handle looks to be attached very well and is comfortable. The cinch-clips are easy to click together and to open. The straps are good for light work. This isn't for backpacking in the woods, however it is working perfectly for traversing the parking lot and dodging the hazards of office/cube life. Hey, just found a zippered pocket on the back incorperated into the lower pad! Good hiding spot or for more padding if needed. So, if you are like me and was tired of or frustrated with carrying a case for you laptop/miscellaneous and another case with your lunch, then grab one of these! Don't be detered about the 'picnic' title - though calling it an urban or office backpack would also be unfair. I would've liked to found this as a student, really glad I found it for my commute. Just so you know, this is an unpaid, unbiased review. This fits my needs and if your needs are similar, you will, hopefully, like it as much as I do. Think gift for college kid or packrat friend/coworker. It's great - don't wait!

I took my time ordering this bag. I am happy I got this one. It is large but the storage options are fantastic. So far it had stood up to my use. I am sure the inside of the cooler is less durable but I do not use it much and as of now it is still like new. I got this bag so I could use the cooler compartment for gym shoes. The laptop compartment is super protective and could fit some pretty big laptops from what I can tell. I never used outside pockets before but I have found them useful for this bag. And the rain cover compartment is great and easily forgotten when you first get the bag... haha. The double zipper of the main compartment is very sturdy and really good quality. Honestly I feel like $50 was a bit of a steal compared to other bags I was investigating. I really like this backpack and if they came out with more colors I would buy a second one for sure!

Absolutely adore this product! I bought it thinking, "Well, I am about to start commuting pretty heavily, and I have a lunchbox but do not want to drag it all around, so I want easy storage." Got this shipped in the mail and it is so much more than I bargained for! Ample space for my pack-mule items (and trust me, I AM a pack mule), plenty of hidden compartments for added security, easy to access every one, and cleverly designed to have all of your commuting needs. Lunch pack WAS included (look in the little compartment in the side of the pack). At first, I thought I missed out on the rain cover, but then got a follow-up email, unprompted, from the company telling me to make sure to check the bottom pocket of the bag. Confused, I searched every which way and lo and behold, there was ANOTHER pocket (this is after having it for a month) that I didn't even know existed! The pocket contained a rain pouch that had a carabiner on it so that you can attach it to your bag, wrap your pack, and head out in the rain. Even got a compliment on how smart it was today. Now I want to look into my charging port so that I can take full advantage of all this bag has to offer.

I use this bag during my commute every day using public transit. I bought it right before going back to work after maternity leave and I use the lunch box part as my breastmilk bag. It fits an ice pack, 6-8 4-oz bottles upright, breast-pump-parts. I don't need to carry a pump since I have access to one at work, but if I needed to carry one, the main bag would fit. The only other things I need are my laptop and a sweater. The bag is sturdy and stylish and the lunch box part is perfect for what I need it for. It can get a bit heavy but it's because of the stuff that's in it.

This one of the most amazing backpacks that I have ever bought. What I first like about this back is that it has immense space. I can easily store my laptop and other items such as notebooks textbooks. This helped me tremendously because running out space was an issue I dealt with other backpacks. Second, the backpack has a USB port with a USB cable inside of it. This is great for charging devices that are stored in the bag or charging devices on the go. What I really like about this backpack is that outer material is resistant, so I no longer should be worried about it getting soaked in the rain. Also, this backpack comes with a lunch bag which I enjoy using. For anyone who is looking for a capacious and/or a waterproof backpack, this is the one you should consider purchasing. I never had a backpack as incredible as this one.
