Perfect for what I needed!!!😍
Let’s just say this product was not what I expected. I saw it was a best seller so I assumed it was the best dehydrator. I received it a couple days ago and it was not the shape I expected. It doesn’t have that much shelf space so probably get the bigger one but there is like this whole area in the back with like the fan and stuff. Whenever you pick it up on the sides or top it leaves like finger tip smudges incredibly easily. I don’t really care about how it looks but if you do then that might be an issue. I loved how well it worked. It stops right on time with the timer and it didn’t get too hot or anything. As far as I’m concerned it is incredibly quiet and I couldn’t even notice it really. For what I needed, this product was perfect. It is so easy to use and it makes perfect sweet treats. I used pineapple for the first use and it was so easy to put on and off. Definitely recommending to friends and family!

I have bought thousands of items off amazon and rarely do I take the time to write a review
Did the Deep Dive in Researching Looked at all the other brands, watched youtube videos, etc before I made a purchase, decided on the Cosori 5 Rack max temp 176 degree, bought it, arrived the next day and here are my thoughts. Why I bought I mainly bought it because I like to make beef jerky, I love beef jerky and most of the store bought jerky has all kinds of preservatives and curing salts things that extend shelf life of the jerky but may cut down on yours...With this 5 rack bundle of joy I can control what is in my jerky, i've made just salt and pepper, marinaded jerky, you name it...absolutely love this thing. The smaller unit has a Jerky button which defaults to a 4 hour cook time at 165 degree temp which you can extend the time(also if you push the jerky button twice it defaults to a lower temp for 8 hours) Again you still have manual controls so you could possible dehydrate something at 176 for 48 hours however i would not advise that, that would probably destroy whatever you were trying to dehydrate and be hard on your dehydrator. But depending on your thickness of your beef you can finish a batch in that 4 hour window or extend your time at a lower temp/sky is the limit. Also I should note I did the calculations on the electricity cost and cost of meat and all that, for me I save about 25% off commercial jerky when it is on sale BUT I control the cuts of meat quality and what goes in it, and that is the value for me...I eat a more carnivore diet so if I were consuming preservative laden beef jerky I am sure it would effect me big time. Big things Small Package I think they really optimized this smaller unit because, I can get 1.5lbs of jerky in each batch, the 5 rack unit only uses i think around 480 watts max, its just a nice compact unit but can do allot. I was looking at the bigger units before but i really love this one, if i reach capacity i will just buy a second unit rather that going to a larger unit. This is low wattage (but efficiently optimized for use), plenty of size to do all you need. Dog Treats so Far I have all these ambitions to do Vegi Dog Treats but like Dog and Owner my dog loves the beef jerky treats I make for him which are just dried beef no seasoning. I do plan on making dried green beans, dried carrots and sweet potatoes. Just remember I am sure all dog owners know this you have to be very careful what you feed your dogs they cannot under any circumstances have certain foods like garlic, onions, certain fruits, I am sure you are all aware just a PSA for those who were unaware to check out the AKC and others to see what is safe for our furry friends. Anyways I love that great treats are on my dogs horizon (if you have ever seen the back of a Dog Treats label looking at the ingredients) this is much better alternative. The Bads I bought a vacuum sealer at the same time I bought this Cosori to seal my beef jerky for longer term freezer storage....I am afraid it will never get used. Final Thoughts Again I do not review things, my time is more valuable to waste writing an essay on something for the good or for the bad. But buy it, you will not regret it, don't walk, run towards getting yours! it's outstanding! Not sure I covered what I plan on trying in it later (zuccini flour so I can sub 1/3 of the flour I make pizza dough, I want to do peppers when they are on sale to make a seasoning, carrot chips, zuccini chips and green beans for snacking, I have heard if you caramelized onions then dehydrate them they make an excellent topper for anything from hamburgers to green bean casserole instead of deep fried onions) Anyways enough of my singing it's praises.

Buy it
Wow, I’m impressed. I’m not one to write reviews unless it’s extremely good or extremely bad. I used to own an old, round plastic dehydrator. I decided to upgrade and found this one with stainless steel trays. I mainly use it to make dog treats. Chicken and beef jerky, chicken hearts, beef liver, green mussels, sardines, and veggies. It’s much faster and cooks more evenly without rotating trays than my previous dehydrator. Functions are so easy even a tech moron like me can use it without fail. The size is perfect for my use. It’s smaller than a mini oven. It’s quiet, cleans up easily and powerful. I haven’t been this satisfied with a purchase in a while. I also bought it during prime day sale so the price during the sale fit my budget. Win, win, win!

Beginner friendly.
Works great for drying basil, but it took over 20 hours at 125 degrees. However , I was able to fill a pint jar with uncrushed basil leaves from running it once with all 5 trays full. I don’t leave the stems on either. I will be trying jerky next. I also tested it with a digital thermometer, and the temperature is accurate at 170 degrees, but 3 degrees lower at 100. So, it would be worth checking before doing jerky. The grates on the trays are super fine. That was awesome because the basil didn’t fall through the holes like they did in my round plastic one. I also love the digital temp and timer. It makes it so much easier to get consistent results. The only bad thing is that the power cord sits in a funny spot on the back. Like, it’s by the heat vents, and it makes me wonder if it will withstand the constant heat back there. I would definitely make sure to keep an eye on that. I have had so many appliance bite the dust early because the cords couldn’t handle thermal fatigue.

Great Product for small batches & herb drying, but......
Love this product so much! First off, love that is is metal. I don't eat anything out of plastic, so this machine checked the box there. We are having a lot of fun making jerky so far. It's a great compact size and easy to move from a cabinet to the counter for use. The fan helps to dehydrate foods evenly. I would definitely recommend this product for someone like myself starting out with dehydrating foods, and if you plan to just play around with jerky, drying fruit slices, and drying herbs or veggies. Now for the downside...It comes with one PLASTIC mesh screen and one PLASTIC fruit roll sheet! This really made me angry. The description of this product is all about "ours is metal and safer than plastic trays". So then why would you include a polypropylene PLASTIC tray?! You will have to buy separate silicone trays. Search for item B0D256NTNQ for a silicone mesh option for drying fruit slices. If you are planning on making fruit roll up sheets, this is NOT the machine for you. I have yet to find a silicone replacement for the plastic tray. Fortunately for me, I do not have plans to make fruit rolls.

Works great and very compact
This is a wonderful dehydrator, it's a perfect size for doing small batches to dehydrate. So far we've done strawberries, herbs and several different types of beef jerky. We've filled all the trays and everything gets dehydrated in the times set, it's easy to clean and not very loud. Due to it's smaller size, it fits great on the counter without taking up a lot of space. We think it's a great investment for all of our needs, and well worth the money.

This cannot be used in the UK
This is an American product and you can't just buy an adapter to use this in the UK. There'll be too much power going through it and it won't work. If you want to give it a punt, you'll also need to get a step down power converter which is hefty and costs half as much as this does.

Excelente compra
Llevo más de un año con este producto y funciona a la perfección, no se sobrecalienta y tiene un panel de control muy práctico. El único tema es que las bandejas son algo pequeñas y, al deshidratar carne, los olores se esparcen mucho en el ambiente.

Great small size dehydrator
Some of the things i was looking for: - small size - no plastic parts as this thing is exposed to heat It’s a great dehydrator. Easy to use. All the parts are stainless steel minus the fruit roll tray which i do not use. Great size considering it’s all stainless steel parts. It’s about the size of an average microwave. I use it to make homemade dog treats (beef jerky, fish jerky, cookies, etc…) and this thing is perfect. It’s small but mighty, perfect size if you have a small dog

Wrong power plug
It arrived with a US 110V power plug not a UK 240v 3 pin plug. Its not made clear in the listing unless I missed it. Either way it's completely useless for my requirements. Sent it back straight away

Muy bien
Seca bien la carne después de 14 hrs. Lo malo es que es poco lo que le cabe después de quedar con el antojo.
