Miracle-Gro Indoor Potting Mix for Cactus & Succulent, 8 qt. (2-Pack)

I’ve had a great experience with this Miracle-Gro potting mix. The soil has a nice texture that’s light and easy to work with, and it drains well without drying out too quickly. My plants settled in nicely after repotting and started showing new growth within a short time. The 8-quart bags are a convenient size for repotting houseplants or filling a few small to medium containers, and getting two bags is a good value. I didn’t notice any large sticks or debris, and the mix felt consistent throughout. It holds moisture well while still allowing the roots to breathe, which has helped keep my plants healthy. Overall, it’s a reliable potting mix that makes caring for plants much easier.

Greast succulent soil. This soil has a decent mix of perlite for drainage and is a good price.

This soil has been excellent for my cactus plants. I also loved that the bags were manageable because they weren’t huge. It offers the plants good drainage and I’ve seen lots of growth.

A few people told me that this product is very good. I don’t know if it’s the seeds that I used or what but my lavender is not growing and I read that the soil would be good for it. I used one envelope of lavender seeds and then I bought the identical brand and planted those and they have not come up and that’s a month and a half so they should’ve by now. Perhaps I should’ve tried different seeds. Mind you, my friends say that this soil works very nicely for them.

Great mix! I use this as my base for sansevieria, hoyas, and my ponytail palm. Then I add amendments per each plant type if needed. Not much needs to be changed though because this is always great quality mix. My plants clearly like it because I see amazing growth with my sansevieria which are known to be slow growers. It must be just the correct mix of nutrients and fertilizers in the bag. You can't match this price, I definitely use a lot, too. I'm always adding to my collection. I also appreciate that this soil mix doesn't come soaking wet like it can when ordered from a gardening center. I hate when they're stored outdoors due to pest issues. I always buy this cacti mix. It's honestly my favorite because the quality is always great and it's always a great price.

Its good soil. Just be careful not to pack it too tight into your planting pot as it tends to get a little too cement like (especially if you don't dampen the soil before potting it)! I feel that, while this soil is good, its also very fundamental/simple. Its not exceptional. The reason I always come back to this specific soil for my citrus/cactus plants is I've never had a mold or parasite/bug infested bag. Also I personally have never had it grow any mold over the years of continued use. And the price is very reasonable. Lastly, the nutrient content seems weak if its there at all, but supplementing for plant specific needs is best practice anyway so I personally prefer it that way.

I cannot find the giant size anywhere which is so disappointing, however, this is my favorite soil to use for my cactus plants and succulents. The succulents love it the way it is, and they begin blooming or growth shortly after being potted! The mixture is perfect for them, and perfect with added perlite for my cactus plants as well.

Love the price, and has been a great soul option for my aloe plant that has been thriving
