CMC Thumb Brace for CMC Osteoarthritis Joint Pain Arthritis Relief

I have arthritis in my thumb/trapezium joint which makes any pinching or gripping with the thumb very uncomfortable. This brace provides excellent support and comfort while being easy to wear and way less bulky then others I've tried. I also love that this dries so quickly - I'm a Special Ed teacher and wash my hands dozens of times a day - I needed a brace that would fit easily under nitrile gloves and dry quickly (the bulkier braces stayed damp forever). I will suggest that if you're anywhere near the outer limits of a size, to size up. Even though I was well within the size parameters for the small, I bought both a small and a medium and found the medium to be more comfortable (the small cut off circulation - which meant I wasn't feeling any pain (win) but is otherwise less than ideal. :) The medium is still very supportive and even more comfortable. I highly recommend.

I would purchase this again. I have a much more expensive brand for my other hand that I got at my orthopedic surgeon's office a few years back. I wasn't sure that the quality and fit of an online product would be good, but I was willing to try due to the price difference and ease of return if it did not fit. I am very pleased with the support and functionality to prevent joint pain while providing adequate hand mobility. The velcro quality is good and the product is washable. It comes with a thumb sleeve to prevent rubbing, which is an added bonus.

It has helped tremendously with the pain. It has helped me position my thumb the proper way.

Great for the money. I was diagnosed with basal arthritis in both hanfs. The support brace the doctors office supplied was bulky and uncomfortabke. These are as comfirtable as you can get and still have basal joint support. Easily adjustable,You definately need to wear a liner underneath though.

I prefer this thumb brace the second strap helps keeps the mold in place inside your thumb. Very comfortable.

Hurts my hand, rubs on it. Does give thumb relief.

After two weeks of wear this product separated at the plastic guard seams. Returned for credit. Changed rating from a 4 to a 1. Buy higher quality brace. Original review It will take a few days/weeks of wearing this to evaluate fully, so this rating may change. The first day I wore it, I was able to button my shirt with no pain, and perform typical functions without hindrance. Appears to be good quality.
