I believe it will.. I have it on walnut ..was worried fue to the density of the wood .. No problem

I believe the one you have pictured is the SB-1850BN, which is a stapler in addition to the 18 guage finish nailer. I have the btfp 12233 which is only an 18 guage finish nailer. It works really well, and is mostly constructed of metal.
