TOZO PA2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Dual Drivers and Bass Diaphragms

I have owned this speaker for over a year and it's still holding strong. Battery life is good. I use it around of 1-2 hrs per day and it last about 2 weeks without charging. Sound quality is decent, it produce a good amount of bass and clarity. Out of the box sounds terrible, make sure to download their app and adjust the EQ and you will be golden.

I bought this speaker because my car doesn't have Bluetooth. It gets really loud and has good bass which is something I look for in speakers.

I really, really wanted to love this, but I just can’t deal with how loud its startup and power off (and connect & disconnect) tones are. The sound quality is great, but I really mostly use my portable speakers for night use, like white noise or sleep music. I can’t be waking up my neighbors when I turn this on late at night, and I’m tired of burying it under myself or into a thick blanket to muffle it when I do so. Even if I was willing to keep doing this, the loud tone it plays when it disconnects after no audio for 15-20 minutes is annoying, and has awkwardly made itself known on phone calls if I paused anything for a while when working and it disconnects. I also don’t need it waking me up in the middle of the night because the music randomly stopped, and if the disconnect tone doesn’t wake me up, the power off tone will. I used to use the Anker Soundcore Select 4 Go, but stopped because when connected to my phone on Do Not Disturb, sometimes it would pause any music or sounds when a notification came through and never went back to playing (then powering off after 20 minutes because of no audio). I guess I will have to keep on the hunt for a speaker with a) not super loud sounds, and b) that doesn’t randomly pause or disconnect from my phone when it shouldn’t. I’m probably going to return it, though I wish I could keep it for the sound quality.

I bought this as a cheaper replacement for my JBL to use while kayaking (why run the risk of losing a $100 speaker in the river?). This thing takes a beating and plays flawlessly. It has since replaced the JBL for everyday use. The SINGLE drawback (and that is because I obsessively try to take care of electronic devices) is there is no cover for the USB-C power input. WHO CARES? Search for USB-C protective plugs and get a box - they're DIRT CHEAP and problem solved. Buy this thing.... NOW. Heck, buy TWO!

After a few weeks of testing I am impressed with this speaker. It is just as loud, if not louder than my JBL that cost twice as much. The shape is perfect for luggage or a car cupholder. The build quality is solid. The sound is great, especially the bass (again, better than my JBL). At 70% volume, plenty loud enough for the pool at recent lake house airbnb, it lasted from 10:30 to 5:30 before the battery died so seems about 7 hours of practical use which is comparable again to my JBL. No complaints really, though it does appear that it would produce 360 degree sound by the shape and design of it when in reality it has two speakers facing in the same direction as the logo and subwoofers on each side perpendicular to that. I figured as much when I bought it though so this is not an issue for me.

Have had it for 2 years now and as you can see it’s been pretty well used. Sound quality is great, it’s not too heavy, and it’s pretty loud for its size. I love the option it has to change the bass on it! Fully charged I’ve been able to play it continuously for 8 hours until it dies. Lately I’ve been using for around 3 hours everyday and it’s just held up so well. Only downside is how scratched it can get if you’re not careful with it. Other than that it’s an amazing speaker for the price and I haven’t had a problem with it.

Nachdem ich mit TOZO Kopfhörern bereits gute Erfahrungen gemacht hatte, wollte ich auch deren BT Lautsprecher testen. Der TOZO PA2 hat mich nicht enttäuscht! Anwendungsgebiet & Anforderungen Der Lautsprecher sollte guten Klang für unterwegs (z.B. Hotels, Freizeit) bieten und als Konferenzlautsprecher dienen. Meine Anforderungen: Kompakt, spritzwassergeschützt, lange Akkulaufzeit (>16 Stunden), und ein Mikrofon. Klang Out of the Box ist der Klang gut. Über die TOZO App kann man zwischen 16 Presets wählen. Mein Favorit ist "Dance", der bleibt auch gespeichert. Der Klang ist für einen kleinen Lautsprecher beeindruckend, und die Bass-Membrane sorgen für einen tollen visuellen Effekt. Laufzeit & Laden Die Akkulaufzeit beträgt 24 Stunden, was ich bestätigen kann. Aufgeladen wird per USB-C, einfach und unkompliziert. Verarbeitung & Haptik Der PA2 ist perfekt verarbeitet. Das Mesh-Gewebe fühlt sich hochwertig an und ist robust. Der Lautsprecher hat ein angenehmes Gewicht und die mitgelieferte Kordel ist gut dimensioniert. Das Logo ist aus Metall, was ein schönes Detail ist. Mikrofon Für gelegentliche Telefonkonferenzen geeignet. Die Sprachqualität ist gut, solange man nicht zu weit entfernt ist. Stummschalten per langem Druck auf die Play-Taste (Vorsicht: kurzer Druck beendet den Anruf). Tasten Guter Druckpunkt und Beschriftung. Die Steuerung erfolgt meist über das gekoppelte Gerät. Wasserdicht Der Lautsprecher ist spritzwassergeschützt und hält sogar kurzzeitigem Untertauchen stand. Sonstiges Beim Ein- und Ausschalten ertönt ein lauter Jingle. BT Pairing funktioniert problemlos, für das Switchen zwischen zwei Geräten schaltet man beim verbundenen Gerät kurz Bluetooth aus. Fazit Mit dem "Dance"-EQ bietet der Lautsprecher hervorragenden Klang. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, die Akkulaufzeit lang und das Laden einfach. Er ist kompakt genug zum Mitnehmen und laut genug, um ein Zimmer zu beschallen. Das Mikrofon ist ein nützliches Add-On.
