Will these rust outdoors?

If you leave outside, yes, it will rust. It is metal.

Are these brass coated or just a paint that's gold colored over aluminum?

I got the silver color and they are not coated. Really small & hard for me to use. I was needing them just to put 2 sheets of paper clipped instead of using staples. And its was just bending my papers up trying to put them on because they don't open much & are really hard to hold.

I nerd some paper clips where the metal is of a small diameter to fit inthe reset hole of a device I have. Does anyone knoe if these will work?

These things are so tiny maybe they’ll work for you they didn’t work for me I returned them good luck all you can do is try return them if they don’t work
