Perfect To Monitor Temps & Humidity In Bambu Lab AMS
What can I say. I have 4 Bambu Lab printers with the AMS units and I wanted to track the temps & humidity levels. Not so much to look over my shoulder and see them like those $3 hygrometers, which are wildly inaccurate. I had a couple of these sitting around that I used in my shop and other household areas, so I tested the fit and bam! They fit in. Snug, yes but they fit. Now I can track the status both real time and logged over time from my phone at any time. Perfect solution for this honestly. They're definitely on point with accurate readings. When one unit is printing, it's warmer than the other, which you can track easily. When you crack the lid to swap a roll, it changes, so it's sensitive to quick open and close situations as well as the overall monitoring. For the deals that run on them, you can't beat em they're a great value.

3rd one and monitor
Put in a finished basement. I place this to monitor exactly as description. It is directly above thermostat on wall hung by a needle. Over time I sync to match to thermostat (have 3 total.. 2 locally & 1 in a 2nd home across country). Purpose primarily is to see dehumidifiers are working and northern home temp monitior on freezing days. All work off one app. I have time to monitor on 2 hour cycles so batteries last over a year. Takes the worry out of monitoring by using phone. Pleased with product.

Easy to set up and peace of mind!
Super easy set up with use of the included app for the sensors, currently monitoring five different houses that said empty quite a bit of the time during the cold winter months in the northern part of the country does needing a reliable and easy to use method to identify any failures in the heating systems. These have saved my butt more than once by avoiding having frozen pipes and all that good stuff that comes along with it well worth the money and we’ll continue to buy more as needed.

Calibration isn’t the best
Better out there.

Great for monitoring home when I'm gone
As another 100-degree summer in Texas begins, I worry about my dog while I'm at work. If the AC goes out while I'm gone, it won't take long for my apartment to turn into an oven, and I won't have a clue anything is wrong until I get home in the evening. I don't have the option of a wifi enabled thermostat or the money to buy a more robust monitoring system, so I decided to see if there was another option and happened across this nifty little gadget. So far, I love it! The device itself is small and inconspicuous, and it's designed so you can attach a hook/ribbon/etc to hang it somewhere if you want. It was super-easy to pair this little sensor with my home wifi and get the app running on my phone. I initially set it right next to a little digital thermometer/hygrometer I have at home, just to make sure it was accurate and see if I needed to calibrate it at all. Throughout the evening, it stayed within a few tenths of a degree of what the digital thermometer was showing, so I knew it was working well. I then attached it to the top of my dog's crate, and now I can easily see that he's at a comfortable temperature throughout my workday. Best of all, the app will alert me if the temperature climbs above a limit I set. That will allow me to leave work, contact maintenance, and hopefully get the problem fixed before it gets too hot in there -- or at least make other arrangements for both myself and my dog. Am I a little too obsessed with my dog's comfort? Of course, but since he's completely dependent on me for everything, I think I owe him that extra consideration. If nothing else, this little sensor gives me peace of mind and lets me head off to work with one less thing to worry about. Update: Talk about good timing! I only bought this little sensor a couple of weeks ago, but this week I came home to a note on my apartment building that there would be maintenance on the air conditioning units for three days. They said our AC should stay on almost the whole time, but would probably cut off for a few minutes while they clean some coils or something, but they also noted that we should call them if our AC was out for more than two hours. For a split second I was panicked worrying about what would happen if my AC was out for hours on end while I was at work and my dog was stuck in a hot apartment. Then I remembered I have this awesome little sensor. I’ve been checking it every few hours every day, and I get such peace of mind overseeing that my dog is perfectly fine because my AC is obviously still running.

Save your money and buy a different sensor , these are garbage
Crap product . they claim to have "accurate Swiss sensors , yet both that i got the humidity was almost 50% out and the temp was 20 out ..both beyond the scope of calibration BY FAR. Buy something different

Great device
Measures the temperature and humidity very well. No saving of data without WiFi. One star less.

Always know what's going on
Great tool. It's my 2nd one. The first one (2 years) fell into salt water and I don't expect anything electronic to work when it's completely submerged. It does however withstand high humidity and high heat because I use this to be sure my hermit crab tank is >80° and humidity is >84%. The instructions say you must calibrate it and mine was 1.5° off. No problems with continuesnaccuracy to within 0.1°. The size is small enough that is isn't noticable or in the way. I hot glued a vine to it (away from sensor) and nobody is the wiser. The alarms go off when it's outside of my set ranges. The battery life is 6+ months and I have it update to my phone every 30 minutes. The few questions I have had over the years customer service is very quick to respond and very helpful. I highly recommend for anything where a constant environment is important.
