Selterm Heat Shrink Tubing Kit, Large Size Marine Grade 108 Pcs Red & Black

Item arrived in good condition and as expected. The SELTERM brand has worked well for me, it's towards the top of the Consumer or DIY grade and I only buy this brand. Hard to describe but you get a 100% product, not thinned down or reduced to beat others on price (not cheap China junk). Meets expectations for the grade of shrink tube I need, a product I continually re-order as I need more. It's a trusted brand for me.

Pieces are shorter than I was thinking, or about 1/2 length I’d prefer.

This tubing worked out perfectly when sealing up clipped battery cables (1/0 and 4) gauge. The cables were for a parallel setup that I was converting to a serial setup so the extra leg was not needed. Rather than cut off and crimp new lugs on, I just clipped the extra cable and sealed it off with the heat shrink tubing. I used two - first shrunk one piece hanging about an inch or so past the end. After shrinking that piece, I folded over the extra at the end and then put a second piece of tubing over the fold and rest of the cable. Worked perfectly on both sets of cables. Easy to shrink and the glue coming out the end is your signal that the shrinking is finished & sealed tightly with no gaps. The box had way more than needed, but this also works for protecting the ends of anything sharp, and I am getting some ideas on how to use it in other situations. So, I am very happy with this purchase..

Good variety of sizes. Works well with my heat gun and easy to use. I used it for landscape lighting with buried wiring, and it has survived one winter season so far.
