The table is exactly as I expected. It is pressed wood with veneer. I did not expect real wood. It took me about 4 hours to put together. It was really easy if you follow the picture instructions exactly. All parts were there and it arrived damage free. I put it together by myself but an extra pair of hands would have been helpful. It looks very nice for what it cost. It feels nice and sturdy. I’m happy with it. If you can find this table made with real wood you will probably be looking at $5-8 hundred dollars., maybe more. I would recommend this table. Update: I’m enjoying this table. So glad I bought it. It’s perfect for my living room. The biggest problem I’m reading about in the reviews is about putting it together. yes there are a lot of parts. Study the pictures, orient the pieces just like the pics, and you should have no issues. If I can do it, anyone can. Take your time and breathe.

I don't normally write reviews on Amazon items. You get what you pay for. But I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this piece of furniture. It's your typical kit style piece. However, it's higher quality than most. You will spend some time assembling it. My estimate is an hour and hour with a partner, maybe an hour and a half or two hours by yourself. The instructions were good and easy to follow. I would suggest as others have to install the lift top brackets to the base of the unit before attaching the table top, at least for a single person. It really all went together well, with no drama. All holes lined up properly and with plenty of extra parts, a bag full, nice touch. It actually came with a screw driver that you will want to keep in your tool box, also a nice extra touch in my opinion. The table is very sturdy after assembly. It's actually kind of over engineered for the price point. That's rare for kit furniture. As far as materials, I would say adequate to above average, especially for the price point. Nothing feels cheap. The finished assembly feels sturdy and robust. I'm not sure if they use an actual wood veneer or a synthetic laminate, but it looks like real wood when assembled, not too shiny like a plastic veneer. It seems to take wood oil nicely. I did assemble the unit with polyurethane glue in all dowel pins. It seems incredibly sturdy. The lift top mechanism works extremely well, and smoothly. The only real cons I can describe are that the drawers and interior bottom panels are "relatively" thin, but this is a minor issue at best. Overall I'm incredibly happy with the purchase and final product. It assembled without drama, seems extremely sturdy, and looks good when completed. What more can you ask for especially considering the price point? Highly recommended. (This is just my opinion btw)

Overall good product that is sturdy and functional. Probably more closer to 4.5 stars. Make sure you watch the price history because it became cheaper about 10 days after I purchased it. Packaging – Received in good condition with all parts accounted for, no issues unpacking. Assembly – Overall easy to assemble. Directions were simple and took reasonable amount of time to put together and put it in place in my living room. Look & Functionality – Positive things, It looks good and is very functional for me with the lift top. It allows me to eat in the living room and watch TV without needing to stoop down to my plate or bowl. The table is sturdy and it does not wobble or look like it will tip over. The only negative comment I have is that it’s not comfortable to put my leg on. Yes I know that it’s not built for me to put my legs on but for some reason it is uncomfortable to put my leg on. I’m going to alleviate that with putting a throw blanket or pillow. Overall a good product, just make sure you get it at the right price.

Was about as easy as IKEA furniture to put together. Super space saving, we love the storage for our painting supplies. Fit well in a small 1 bedroom apartment. We like the versatility of the hydraulic lift to be able to eat and work off of. Overall a purchase I'm quite happy with!

This is a heavy duty coffee table weighs over 50 lb. When assembled is very stable and does not rock at all. It is simple to put together the instruction booklet with photos with everything numbered is easy to follow. They give you one cheap screwdriver that is useless. You actually need two sizes of screwdrivers, one for the screws and one for the Locking cams. It States you need two people, one person can do it fairly easily. For mounting the top the illustration shows two people are required. Actually it's very easy to do just one person. They bracket legs will simply sit inside and it's easy to balance with one hand and once you get one screw in the job is finished. It's the right size the height is compatible and it's very good when the tables swings toward the sofa. One of the drawer fronts had a very small, 8 inch, spot on the edge that did not have the same color. A little old English blended it in perfectly. I would buy it again,

Love this! I get so many compliments on it. It w took a bit to put together but all the parts were there. Directions are pictures, seems to be the norm. We put the bumper pads on way too far over in the corners but they still touch the table ends. They just aren't centered, so be careful of that instructions. Other than that a nice sturdy table

Good purchase for me. Exactly the living room or coffee table I wanted. I assembled everything by myself, so a one person assembly is very possible. Coffee table comes with 36 page booklet, very DIY instructions. Make no mistake this is assembly can be difficult, so keep your mind open to mechanical and technical details . Tip#1 Lay wooden pieces out on floor or large table, every piece is numbered 1 through 15, also there are two miniature hydraulic parts which will allow table top to slide open and close. Check out YouTube video for reference. Tip#2 Coffee Table assembly is brutal, have Philips screw driver close by— almost all screws are cross shaped. Tip#3 Study page 10–this is known as Exploded View, visualize this page, pg 10 is key reference point . Tip#4 On page 8 is screw lettered A, every panel or almost every one will need this screw. I recommend that you begin assembly by screwing letter A screw in to panel parts 1st. Tip#5 letter B, and C on page 8 all work together. Letter C on pg 8 is wooden pegs that fit nicely into holes on panels. Tip#6 pages 5,6, and 7 are wooden panels and frames for table, just remember to start by screwing in 6x25mm screw on page 8 called letter A, you can thank me later. Closing: I took my time, did it right, assembly became too easy after awhile. Remember page 8, parts A,B, and C go hand in hand, they’re your guide posts. Two people could do assembly in less than 3 hours. Much of the work involving this project has to do with laying out boards, keep track of panels they are numbered correctly, have a plan…have fun. My table looks great and friends think I bought it from big box store, nope no big box store for me. Happy Assembly to all.

Decent quality for the money. It looks good. Definitely helps with space saving. Durable enough I guess. Instructions aren’t IKEA hard but not the easiest. Slightly difficult to assemble but not crazy.

Excelente compra! Si tienen planeado comprar esta mesa, no se arrepentirán 10/10. Buena calidad, los cajones funcionan súper bien, el sistema de la cubierta funciona a la perfección. Para armarla demoramos 1 hora 40 minutos entre dos personas pero vale mucho la pena.

I absolutely love this coffee table! It is very sturdy, heavy, and feels like excellent quality. The lift-top feature works smoothly and is perfect for eating, working, or using a laptop from the couch. The hidden compartment and drawers provide so much storage and help keep everything organized and out of sight. The rustic brown finish looks beautiful in my living room. Assembly was straightforward, and the finished product exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this table. It took about a week to be delivered and it was a day earlier than what was estimated. The box was damaged on the edge, but the table itself wasn’t. It was packaged really well. All the pieces were in packaged and clearly labeled. It had easy to read instructions and didn't take very long to assemble. The drawers glide open easily without any resistance and have considerable amount of space within. The top raises up effortlessly and smoothly. I enjoyed the fact there was an option on which direction I wanted the table to open. I chose for it to open towards the drawers. Overall, this was a great purchase and the perfect table.
