Woah, magic shampoo. I bought this after reading that it won the 2025 Allure Best Voluming Shampoo. I have been battling fine hair my entire life, and I can hands down say that this is the first shampoo that I've ever tried that feels actually thickening, ON IT'S OWN, without seven other products. I'm still trying to figure out how they do it. I got a compliment on my hair at work on my first day - what?! My hair looks full and healthy, has smooth and easy combing, and a very very light clean smell. Incredible value for the money. Well done formulation team! 👏

This is quite possibly the best shampoo I have ever used. When I was younger, I had fine, perfectly straight hair that just hung there. As I have aged, the few gray hairs have come in coarser and a bit curly making my hair mixed. While I love John Frieda shampoos, I hate hate hate that they introduce them, I find one I like and then it just disappears and they come out with a new one. Let me keep the ones that I like! Anyway, I bought this one when they discontinued the last one. From the moment you start to lather, you will feel a difference. Thick, silky lather! I even checked the directions - you don't have to "lather, rinse & repeat". I usually do out of habit but have tried to lathering once and it does work. I want a shampoo to make my hair feel clean and not like it has left a bunch of gunk behind and this one does seem to rinse all out. And my hair feels different. Yes, it feels thicker - with more body - but more importantly to me, it feels really silky and smooth. Please don't discontinue this one - I want to keep using it!

This product really works! My hair had been thinning and I tried other products before this one. My hair feels and is noticeably thicker.

Honestly, I do not see a lot of thickening here. However, I am happy that my semi-permanent color did not all wash down the drain with this shampoo. The reason I love it, is the smell. I LOVE fragrant shampoos and this is a classic scent. I love the fact that when someone gets close enough, they can catch a whiff of my clean hair. Love it!

The shampoo really adds volume… Very pleased!

This shampoo is the best, I have tried many shampoos stating it gives volume but the John Frieda is by far the best I have used thus far with a good price for it as well. There was no bad smell to it the fragrance to it was light and not overwhelming, it gave a lot of bounce with softness and shine to it. it deserves 5 stars

Not really satisfied with the product does not give volume, but does smell good.

Nice lathering and pleasant light fragrance. Although it didn’t seem to thicken my hair, it left it shiny and soft.
