Liberty Pumps ALM-2-1-EYE StormCell 442-Series Alarm, NightEye Wireless Enabled, Indoor, 115V, Wide Angle Float with 10' Cord

I bought this unit because I wanted one that wouldn’t just monitor the level in the sump, but also if the sump pump still had power. This unit seems to work very well for that. When I unplugged the unit from the same outlet that the sump is on I instantly got a text message and alert on my phone. I imagine it’ll be the same for the level alarm.

The unit sent to me is missing the 9v battery and the battery tray, for an almost $400 piece of electronics this oversight and misleading instruction is not acceptable, I have tried reaching out through the call a support feature and never received a call back. Reached out to them via website support form, there is no confirmation either. Just lost at this point, and I don’t see a way to order the missing 9v battery holder. Without this the unit continuously beeps at 80db, and the only way to suppress it is through app or a physical button on the unit every few hours.

The back up battery would not stay in place. From talking to support it appears that the alarm has been redesigned to address this issue, but be careful as some distributors are still selling the older version. Found a less expensive alternative that has fuller functionality and worked out-of-the-box. Would not recommend the Liberty alarm.

Nice product. Only reason for the 4 stars is the process of learning it into the app took several days due to not being able to register it. Couldn't connect to their servers for whatever reason. But once learned in works and looks good. Very easy to install.

Easy setup (as long as their cloud service is up). Works well. Easily integrated with a Concord 4 alarm panel to automatically close a water shut-off valve if the alarm is tripped.

I have had this for a year and would not recommend this unit, but advise to look for one with cell service notification capability. With this system, if you lose power, then have a pump/high-water problem, you will not be notified since your wifi is likely to be down during a power outage. This is a big negative.

It is rare that I come across a product so poorly designed. First, the 9v battery must be replaced yearly. The unit will beep every minute when the battery is low. Unfortunately, the batter cannot be removed from the unit! There are comments all over the internet about this. Second, once the device is setup, it cannot be reset. If your wifi changes, you must buy a new unit. This is a cheaply built product that I would not feel comfortable relying on for such a critical purpose.

Awesome. Just what I was looking for. Piece of mind while I'm away from the house. It took a frustrating while to connect with the router but finally just before giving up it connected. Be aware that with any wifi alarm, you'll need a router battery backup (UPS) . I have primary(Zoeller), secondary (Wayne), battery backup system (Zoeller) sump pumps and the night eye and a small generator if the power outage should be longer than 7hrs...
