Buy it, you won’t regret it
I’ve been in the RC hobby pretty my whole life and worked at a hobby store through high school. I’ve dealt with every major brand of RC cars and I can without a doubt say this car is very similar to a major brand. The fact that the battery has a Deans plug says ALOT. Years ago the “off brand” RC cars were absolute junk. I’m here to tell you that this little car is not junk. I’ve ran this car now for a few weeks and multiple battery cycles. Hasn’t broken yet. Super fun RC car for the price. This is a perfect car to join the hobby as it can drift inside or outside. I average an easy 25-30 minutes per battery. For the price you simply can not beat this deal. Side note the mini totes from Home Depot are a perfect storage solution for it.

Vet RC Hobbyist Cheap Upgradable Basher
I used to be pretty into the hobby level of radio controlled cars a few years back, and back then something as cheap as this would only come as a prebuilt, single board piece of garbage that used the cheapest possible non standardized electronics. Nowadays this has changed, and for $60 (on sale) you can get a fully ready to run car with 2s lipos, and an upgrade path of mainstream parts, plus full part replacement purchasablity from HBX’s website??? This hobby has come so far! I purchased one of these for myself as a cheap post Christmas gift to myself, as a drift car to act in place of my HPI Micro RS4 kit from the 90s that I don’t want to damage anymore. So far its been incredible. Right out of the box it is plenty powerful for most people, but me being me I decided to purchase a better radio, and upgrade the motor and esc to a 6500kv brushless 2435 kit from Quicrun. It is now way too powerful, I’ve ripped part off the shell, and I have to limit it to about 50% power 😂. Overall absolutely reccomend anything from HBX. Great gifts, intro to the hobby, and cheap bashers for experienced folk!

Just get it
For the price, wow! Lots of bang for the buck. I have been looking for something similar for indoor use. Considering the latrax rally is three times the cost this lil guy is the winner. It does everything the rally can and comes with two batteries that seem to last for 30-40 minutes. Very fast and easy to drift. I did not like the included gyro effect but for those new to steering with the throttle it can help. It only works under throttle and if you feather the throttle it makes the car feel jittery and unpredictable. I swapped in a redcat rer15186 esc/rx. Everything plugged right in for 20$ and no more stability control. Now its perfect. I will be getting a couple more for Indoor rally cross. Just get one!

vary cool little car, fast for its size
I like this car it is fast on the high speed and looks good too, I put on extra stickers and added the missing gyro that it says it has in the description but does not actually have. I used a hyper go G3. It has variable steering and throttle, so it can be used for drift racing, provided you know how to drive. even without the gyro by using the throttle as variable.

My favorite 1/18 rc car!
UPDATE: ITS SO GOOD I HAD TO GET THE OTHER ONE! This thing is tough, it drifts, it’s cheaply priced, and they give you two batteries that are lipo with deans connectors! The battery life is above par, it handles great(will spin out if you hold the go fast down), Motor came with a heat sink, gyro built into the 2 in 1 receiver( many people aren’t fans but own spektrum products)- you can’t ask for more for the cost of this little dude that rips on carpet, tile, hardwood(I’m not taking it outside). The tires are a hard compound so I’m sure on polished concrete it would be beautiful! 5 stars. It rips. And yeah I used tape to slow down the top speed and raise the wheel speed( longer corners) but even with the tape it’s a rocket! Earned a hoonigan sticker from my dwindling stock

Broke first time using
First time using it and the wheel broke off. Contacted merchant. Was told under warranty and to send order number and pictures, which I did immediately. It’s been crickets ever since. Have not heard back from them.

Build quality
lol nothing to crazy to be upset about but whoever installed parts had to of been struggling. Shock was upside down there was an additional spacer for one shock and they also forget to zero out the servo before connecting link. One of the wheel screws was stripped out. Other than that not to bad. Worth the 60 bucks I suppose.

Title: Tough & Safe Indoor RC Drifting — Toddler Approved!
"I’ve been using this RC drift car indoors for two years, and it’s become my favorite way to play with my toddler. Instead of running around while he plays with his trucks, I can join in from the couch. Safety & Durability: The speed control is perfect. Even at a slow pace, it’s not fast enough to accidentally hurt my son if it bumps into him. Plus, the front end is great at absorbing crashes. My toddler plays with it too, and the car has taken plenty of direct hits to walls and table legs without any real damage. While the plastic body eventually cracked after two years of use, some gaffer tape fixed it right up! Performance: Drifting takes some practice, but it’s definitely doable. I’ve already mastered doughnuts and U-turn drifts. It’s hard to control at first, but that’s part of the fun. Verdict: I haven’t tried it on a race track or outdoors yet, but for indoor fun with the family, it’s safe, durable, and reliable. Highly recommended for parents who want a low-stress way to play!"
