Kids love it !!! So do Adults
Writing โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ This Pop-A-Shot Super Slam is an absolute blast! ๐ The quality and durability are excellent, and the spring-loaded rim holds up great even with plenty of dunking and rough play. It was easy to put together and install over the door, and the electronic scoreboard makes it even more fun and competitive. I really like how sturdy it feels while still being easy to use. Itโs perfect for bedrooms, game rooms, or anywhere you want a quick basketball game without taking up much space. Great build quality, easy setup, durable materials, and tons of fun. Definitely recommend it! Itโs been on my door since day one hasnโt moved a once and the rim backboard balls included are all still in use to this day!

Fun and great quality
Bought this for my grandson and he loves it. Itโs on his bedroom door and he plays with it every day. Has had it for a few months and is still holding strong and has not broke.

Durable for teen and adult dunkers!
Exceeds expectations on durability! Kids and adults can dunk without worrying about breaking off the rim. It is spring loaded, so even if someone hangs or pulls the rim down during the dunk, you will still be able to play. The score board is accuate keeping track of shots made. We have used the hoop everyday since Christmas. The rim folds up, so that you can store on the door when you are not using. I am not advanced when it comes to putting things together, but it was able to be built in 20 minutes (Instructions came with it). I read a lot of reviews before buying a on the door hoop, still bought two- just in case, and this one in unbeatable. This is a yes, stop reviewing, and purchase. Great for any age, rough play, and daily use. Folds up, features light up scoreboard. Most products durability decline with the score board, so very unique that this one did not. 5+++ stars. Great value!

Realistic Basketball Hoop - Easy to Assemble - Sound Not Great
I got this for myself because I had one as a kid and loved it. The one I had was tiny and made by nerf and the ball was foam but it was still fun and my friend and I would play for hours! Anyway, I chose this one because it looks real, I liked the scoreboard and the sounds and I got it on sale. It was easy to put together - took less than 3 mins. I canโt get the net to stay on so I need to look into how others get it to stay in place. Now this is the thing I need help with from other reviewers: I am good at basketball and games like this. However, with this, far fewer of my shots are successful. I was wondering if thatโs a design flaw here? Iโm no basketball expert but maybe the way the metal rim is connected isnโt something Iโm used to? Can you all test my theory? I have improved since getting it but it seems to me that many accurate shots that look like they should go in, arenโt. Could it be the balls? Or how the balls are inflated? Speaking of balls, it came with 2 ~ Iโd have preferred to have 3-4 ~ but 2 is still better than just 1! The sound quality isnโt great and itโs hard to hear whatโs said. I was hoping the sounds would be more fun; instead theyโre more annoying. I got this on sale for $30. I would not pay more given the comps. At $30, itโs a good value. It comes in a nice box as well so itโs also giftable.

Steph Curry Wannabe Disrupts Apartment Living
As a grown man in my 30s, I should know better than to indulge in childish whims. But when I spotted this Pop-A-Shot Super Slam Indoor Mini Basketball Hoop, I couldn't resist the urge to relive my glory days as a backyard baller. After all, what could be more thrilling than pretending to be Steph Curry, draining three-pointers from the comfort of my bedroom? Little did I know, my quest for basketball immortality would quickly turn into a neighborhood nuisance. With each swish of the net, the mini hoop unleashed a cacophony of sound effects straight out of a cheap arcade game. Cue the roommates pounding on my door, demanding I cease and desist from my one-man NBA jam session. But did I listen? Of course not! I was too busy perfecting my turnaround fadeaway jumper to care about their pitiful slumber. Besides, who needs a scoreboard when you're having this much fun? (Spoiler alert: the scoreboard is utterly worthless, but more on that later.) As the nights wore on, my roommates' patience wore thin. Threats of eviction were hurled, along with a few well-aimed socks and shoes. But I persisted, determined to prove that even a grown man can channel his inner child and become a basketball prodigy overnight. As if disturbing the peace wasn't enough, my quest to become the next Steph Curry also left a trail of destruction in its wake. You see, the Pop-A-Shot requires a door frame for mounting, which seemed brilliant at the time. Little did I know that repeatedly slamming plastic against wood would have consequences. Within a week, my bedroom door frame was a canvas of scuffs and nicks - each dent a battle scar from my hoop dreams. The roommates weren't amused, especially about the security deposit. Alas, my dreams of NBA stardom were shattered when the scoreboard decided to rebel, spewing out random numbers and nonsensical beeps that would put R2-D2 to shame. Apparently, scoring baskets was no longer the objective. In the end, I learned a valuable lesson: some childish pursuits are best left in the past. Unless, of course, you live alone with a door frame begging for abuse. Then the Pop-A-Shot Super Slam is a must-have for any Curry impersonator.

Freaking Awesome
Some assembly required. Tool included. Read the directions first (I didn't and had to do it twice). Put some tape over the speaker in the back for a more reasonable noise level. The rim is surprisingly solidly built. I expect my kids to crack the backboard someday before bending the rim. Nice bits of foam all around to keep it from clattering on the door. There is an occasional mis-scoring when the sensor (mounted just below the rim on the backboard) picks up a non-basket or doesn't score a legit basket. It's probably 2% of all baskets, hopefully it's not the one you need to win. Still great fun. The balls are slightly bigger than a softball. The net is pretty lightly woven to allow for the very light balls to have little resistance. Overall very happy with this vs the other cheap looking copies.

Great gift for teen boys!
This is a great gift for teens. It keeps score which is cool but we've had mini hoops before and all you could hear was the banging on the door. You don't have that with this particular hoop. The boys love it and it's durability. It came with two balls which is nice. Great value for the money. Great size and haven't had any issues with dunking

Fun and nostalgic but best suited to certain types of doors and frames
Man, I love Pop-A-Shot It brings back memories of being in my best friend's garage in the 1990s shooting mini basketballs against each other or later in the 2000s at bars spending way too many coins shooting hoops. When my 8 year old son became hooked on basketball I had to at least give him a slice of this fun in his own bedroom. Let me start off by saying that my son really loves this basketball hoop regardless of any flaws that I'll mention and that is what is most important. That said there are several things to consider before purchasing that led to my rating. Impressions Opening the box it was packed well and seemed more substantial and well-built compared to the other no-name options out there. The process of putting together was relatively straight-forward The digital counter or rim mechanism may take some a bit longer than others. It comes with 2 balls of different sizes which I thought was odd. The RWB one is larger. It would be more fun with 3-5 balls of the same size in my opinion. Installation It hangs above the door on a metal bracket but it's a one size fits all shape and has no means of tightening it. Also, the metal is rather thick and leaves a gap so our door does not close all the way. The gap means the backboard does not sit perfectly flush against the door. Thankfully there are foam pieces that protect the door somewhat. Your mileage may vary but the problem is there is no way to check before. I considered returning it for this reason but watching my son play it pulled at my heartstrings. We close the door as much as we can and my son does not seem to care. The metal bracket has done some damage to our door frame that you can see in the photos. In use The hoop rim folds up or down with a pin mechanism and it works pretty well. In the down position. you to make sure you don't open the door abruptly unless you love making drywall repairs. It's pretty high on the door so my son (age 8) needs our help to raise and lower it. The mechanism is a bit tricky for a young child to operate too. We don't really use the timer much even though I thought that would be something we use a lot. It has no setting to change the default 1 minute so it's rather short when you are hunting for the two balls and there are lots of false positives since it reads below the net. The voice can get annoying after a while too and it would be nice to have an option to just have the score. The breakaway rim doesn't get much use for us yet and is somewhat of a novelty but just makes it extra cool for my son. The classic look of the backboard we also like, Many other brands are over the top and a bit garish. Overall it's a fun toy, I just wish there was more thought put into the mounting options. Positives + My son loves it, he uses it daily + Great classic rim and transparent backboard look + Breakaway rim is fun, if a bit of a novelty + Price is excellent, even against no-name brands + Has a counter, even if it isn't perfect + Has foam pieces to help protect the door + Rime folds when not in use which IMO is vital for having one of these and preventing damage Negatives - Putting it together can be tricky for some people - No info about mounting options and what types of doors it fits. Would like to see perhaps different options to mount. Doesn't really fit well in our door and has damaged the door frame. - The counter has few options. Would be nice to have a no voice option and different lengths of time. - Comes with 2 balls but they are oddly 2 sizes. - Mounting pieces for door have no means to tighten so gap makes backboard no flush against the door, When shooting this causes it to rattle more than if it was tight against the door. - Raising and lowering the rim can be tough for small kids. May require an adult to set it up for them each time.

Super panier de basket!
Cโest vraiment un panier solide pour les plus petits autant que les grands, surtout avec les sons et la penture pour les dunks!

Great
My boys (11&7) love this net. The ball is soft and doesn't make too much noise in the house. The score bored is a nice touch. Great gift idea for young boys!
