It is recommended you use the dedicated receiver for the new model. You might be able to pair it with the old unit, but, you will need to change a channel if it doesn't pair with it...

The salus works on radio waves with the receiver wired into the boiler controls so doing away with any wiring for the thermostat.

Considering I have a Combi Boiler, does the boiler provide hot water at all times, no matter what the heating is programmed to?

Yes, this doesn't affect the hot water, it simply turns the boiler on and off for central heating depending on what you set the temperature to. If you have a timer on the front of your boiler then it will only operate when the timer is on.

Is it compatible with a Logic combo 24

Hi. Even if it was compatible l wouldn't recommend it. Very unreliable. The last one out of four, lasted less than a year. Avoid if l was you.
