So I didn’t think that it could get better than the vacuum pen I have, but it alerts my dog to the fact that I’m paying attention to something other than him and while I still think it’s a great pen, since I quickly went from knowing nothing about Diamond painting to becoming an enthusiast and actually understanding the function of the clay, etc I wanted to give it a try. I got it in purple and I love it. I feel like I prefer tools that are heavier in my hand for balance and accuracy and this fulfills that. Most of all, I love that rather than poking at wax, it comes from the inside of the pen. That part, admittedly takes a little practice to get used to because the very slightest push to move the top is all you need. Any more than very slight movement and you will end up extruding too much of the clay. It’s very easy to use once you are used to it. A little goes a long way and you’ll be surprised and how slight the movement is to get just enough. It doesn’t come in a variety of colors, it eliminates the step of having to push your tool into the clay, which is very convenient. I have no problem with the wax that it comes with, but to refill it, if you have a favorite brand, it shows you how to roll it up to use any clay that you prefer. The size is comparable to the vacuum pen as well as the weight. I find it comfortable to use and the barrel is as thick as a quality pen. For me, it’s a good fit. I love that the other end works as a tool to push your gems into line and make it look so much better. Very happy with this purchase although I do love my vacuum pen and I will no doubt use both. It’s great to have a portable compact portion to bring projects on the go and not require outlets. Well worth the cost.

I love this pen so much. I wish I had known about it when I started diamond art during covid. It saves me all that time I spend trying to pick up a drill with a pen that’s clearly needs more wax, but I don’t want to stop and fill it. My favorite part is the metal piece on the end that lines up your drills by putting them in the proper place in line. I’ve been trying forever to figure out how to make that happen and this just works beautifully so I’d have to say overall I am really happy with his purchase.

My aunt told me about this pen after she bought one for my grandpa (yes, our whole family is in on it). The second I saw it, I knew I needed it. I ordered it a few minutes later and had it the next morning. No disappointment here! The pen comes PREFILLED with wax (don't add one!), has 3 pre-rolled waxes for refills, 10 additional waxes you roll yourself and an ergonomic grip that fits snugly. I bought the bundle that came with the light-up pen, which also comes with extra wax, 3 spare batteries, and 7 tips, including a square drill tip for ultimate versatility. I think it was a savings of about $5 to buy them together and I think the value is absolutely there! The light up pen has a glow in the dark ball that charges when the pen is on, which I think is fun. No losing the pen when you set it down in the dark! The weight of both pens is perfect. Not too heavy and they sit well in my hand. 10/10 recommend!

This works great! I just wish the top part was interchangeable for multi placement. It wouldn't be automatic but I could just turn it around and use that instead of keeping another pen for multi placement only. I want to say that the finger pad "squishy" is the ultimate BEST. The fact that it is a solid, flat surface makes it so comfortable for my fingeraq. Thank you for inventing this! I've also used a different company's silicone putty rolled up tight, and that works too.

I love this pen. It's my favorite to use while diamond painting. However, I bought this April 25th 2025 and as of today, July 25th 2026, part of the pen popped out of place and now pops out the whole head of the pen when I twist to get more wax, so it's no longer usable as is. I'm going to try and glue the tube part back in so I can keep using it, but I may have to get another. $12 ain't bad so if all else fails I'll just replace it.

I really like this pen. Comfortable and the glue I love having in it so I don't have to use the pad of glue. The only thing with the glue when you advance it you do get a little extra so I just clean it the tip. I bought the refills and used one easy to put in and they last a long while.

Love it! At first two things stood out, first was the size and weight as it’s much heavier than your typical one they come with but I got used to the weight in less than 30 min! The size of it seems big but it levels out when you get your grip right. Second is the goo not quite wax like stuff that’s in it when you get it. I was not a fan to start with but the more I use it I love the stuff! It works for a long time! It comes with 2 types of refills, the square wax ones you roll up and little tube clay like ones. It also comes with a comfort grip to put around the metal. Making it easier on your fingers. I absolutely love the purple one I got though the grip covers most of it up. I must say it’s made out of high quality metal! This thing will hold up for a long time. All in all I give it a 9.5 out of 10 and would purchase again. Only recommendation I have to the company is to send it empty, let people decide what type of wax/clay they’d like to load in it. Update; I’ve owned this pen for a year and it’s held up but it did finally break recently. Two pieces separated stripping the glue holding them together. So I ordered another. 100% will always order again! There is no other DA Pen that compares to this one!

Love this. A must if you do diamond painting and you dont like the bulky pens. Grip is comfortable, lightweight. And easy to operate.

The best pen I have used for diamond art. So far I have done 7 12x16 paintings and have not had to add any wax. Great product!
